Day 1

Transfer in and Highland Tour

*Have some shoes, pants or shorts, and a raincoat ready. (In case it rains)

Your driver will welcome you at the airport he will be holding a sign with your name on; he will help you taking the bus to Itabaca Canal so you can board a boat to cross to Santa Cruz Island where your land transport will be waiting for you to start with the 30 minutes trip to Chato ranch, where you can see the Giant Tortoises of Galapagos and vegetation as well as enjoy a delicious lunch and finally go to your Hotel in Puerto Ayora where an assistant of the Agency will be there welcoming you and also will be checking some other details of your activities out.

Pinzon Island

Snorkel, hike and fishing

We departure is from Pto. Ayora we combine with La Fe

Navigation time: 1 hour approx.

Departure time: 7 – 8 am
Return time: 4 pm

Penguin Bay: shallow water to see sea turtles, white tip sharks, schooling tropical reef fish

Dumb Islet: deep water site to see pelagic creatures as mantas and sharks, great place to free dive

La Fe Islet: landing at a mangrove tunnel, walking through candelabra cactus forest to the shore where we see blue footed boobies, pelicans, noodies, sea lions and marine iguanas

Day 3

Charles Darwin Center and Tortuga Bay Beach

Hike and Snorkel

8 AM Charles Darwin Station Visit Walk and Snorkel

Start the walk from your hotel heading to Charles Darwin Avenue to the Galapagos National Park and the Charles Darwin Station is located just a few steps away from it, there you will be able to see the giant tortoises’ corrals from their early years until their adult life, also you will be well informed about the islands, volcanic formations, weather and so. All of this and more at the new Interpretation Center.

 

Lunch in a local restaurant

 

2 PM Tortuga Bay Beach

Recommended schedule time 2PM - 4 hours long.

This road is a cactus and palo santo wood that takes around 30 to 45 minutes to get to the beach, this one is called the ´brave’ one, a 3kms white sand beach and blue sea. If you have some surfing experience this place is ideal to do so otherwise you can walk around this beach towards the ‘peaceful’ one, where you can snorkel or rent a kayak to enjoy the beauty of this place or walk around the cactus forest and marine iguanas resting on the beach.

Day 4

North Seymour Island

Hike and Snorkel

Full day 8am a 3pm

Medium hiking and Snorkel –dry landing-

The tour starts in Santa Cruz towards the Itabaca Canal to board the yacht, the navigation lasts from about 30 to 45 minutes heading to the North of Santa Cruz.

Guided walk to go all over the path where you will have the opportunity to see: blue-footed booby birds, marine iguanas, frigate birds, tropical birds, as cactus trees, palo santo trees among other highlights of the island. (Approximately an hour)

Coming back to the yacht to change clothes and do some snorkeling so you will be able to see sea turtles, tropical fish, and more. (For about an hour)

Back to the yacht enjoy a delicious lunch and relax sailing back to Santa Cruz. Once there the bus will leave you at your lodging place.

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel or from the dock at a previously time scheduled based on your flight to help you out and take you to the Airport.
