Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park contain some of the most spectacular hiking trails in the country. From Observation Point to the Narrows, there is something for you!
While we aim to provide an incredible experience on our retreats, we want to clarify that we are not permitted to operate as official tour guides within Zion National Park or similar protected areas. National Park regulations require specific permits and certifications to guide hikes, which we do not hold. Instead, all hiking on our retreats is self-guided. We provide detailed information, recommendations, and resources to help you enjoy the trails safely and confidently. This approach allows us to focus on creating a holistic retreat experience, including wellness activities, accommodations, and other unique offerings, while respecting the park’s guidelines.
Our retreat homes are located just outside of Zion National Park and a short drive from Bryce Canyon National Park. We take you into the parks and drop you off where you need to go (no parking required). Entry to the parks is also included.
You deserve a little "me time." That's why each retreat has built-in leisure time so you can relax in the hot tub, journal, or take a nap. All activities are optional so that you can enjoy your retreat at your own pace.

We will make a short stop to grab lunch and last-minute items for the trip. We will also stop at the Utah State Liquor Store if guests want to purchase any alcoholic beverages.
While alcoholic beverages are not included, this stop will be your best opportunity to pick up any adult beverages you want to enjoy during the weekend.
We will be traveling in a large 12-passenger van as a group. Space is limited, so please pack light in smaller suitcases. We have washers and dryers available in the home, as well as laundry detergent.
It is approximately a 4 ½-hour drive from Salt Lake City to the retreat home. We’ll make a grocery store/lunch stop and additional restroom stops as needed.
We plan to arrive at the retreat home between 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM.
Some of our guests choose to drive to the retreat home on their own. If this option works best for you, we'll provide you with the retreat home address and detailed driving directions before you arrive.
If you decide to drive to the retreat home from Southern Utah or Las Vegas, you will need a National Park Pass to drive the highway portion that goes through Zion National Park. If you have an annual or lifetime pass, bring that. Otherwise, you can purchase a 7-day park pass or an annual pass at the park entrance in Springdale, Utah (visit the Zion National Park website for the latest prices).
We will do a welcome orientation as a group, where we will get to know each other, review retreat information, and go over the day-by-day schedule (including hiking opportunities). This will be followed by a restorative evening yoga session and then dinner.
We'll finish our day with a delicious home cooked group dinner.
We'll start with yoga first thing in the morning before a rich breakfast buffet and a full day in the park.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and pack your lunch for hiking.
We'll depart the retreat home at 10:00 am sharp, and head to the Zion Visitor Center.
Entrance to both National Parks is included in the price of the retreat, so don't worry about having to buy a National Park Pass during your trip.
The day is yours to explore this magnificent National Park. Recommended hikes for today include Angel's Landing (Permit required), Emerald Pools, and the Watchman Trail.
Angels Landing is one of the most iconic and thrilling hikes in Zion National Park, featuring a steep 5.4-mile round-trip trail with exposed cliffs and stunning views of Zion Canyon. Due to its popularity and challenging terrain, a permit is required to hike the final stretch beyond Scout Lookout. Permits are distributed through a seasonal lottery and a day-before lottery system. To apply for a permit or learn more about the process, visit the official NPS Angels Landing permit page.
At 5:00pm, we'll meet at the Zion Brew Pub for pickup from hiking, and return to the retreat home for a quick shower and a snack before evening yoga.
Evening Yoga
We'll start the day with a morning yoga session before eating breakfast and packing our lunches for an optional day of hiking Observation Point on the east side of Zion National Park.
Embark on a breathtaking hike to Observation Point from the East Mesa Trailhead in Zion National Park. This moderately challenging trail offers stunning panoramic views of the iconic Zion Canyon, showcasing its dramatic cliffs and vibrant landscapes. As you ascend, keep an eye out for unique rock formations and diverse wildlife that call this area home. The hike, approximately 3.3 miles one way, rewards you with a view that feels like stepping into a postcard. Don't forget your camera, as the vistas are truly unforgettable. Experience the beauty of nature and the thrill of adventure on this remarkable trek!
This beautiful hike starts only 15 minutes from the retreat home and provides a stunning vista of Zion Canyon.
Take the morning for yourself. Enjoy a walk around the neighborhood, or soak in the hot tub. The morning is yours to do as you wish.
After hiking, we'll return for a Wellness Afternoon where you can rest, recharge, or journal.

We'll depart the retreat home at 10:00 AM Sharp! Also, for those interested in hiking the Zion Narrows this day, we'll make a stop Zion Outfitter for those interested in renting the optional equipment.
You have the day to explore this magnificent National Park. Recommended hikes for today include Zion Narrows or the Pa'rus Trail.
If you finish hiking early, there is a shopping in the town of Springdale, or you can enjoy a cold beverage at Zion Brew Pub before group pick up at 5:00 PM

We'll enjoy one last delicious home cooked breakfast before packing a lunch for the trip to Salt Lake City, and preparing to depart at 9:00 AM.
Bryce Canyon National Park offers a unique hiking experience through its stunning landscape of red rock hoodoos and natural amphitheaters. Our recommendation is the Queen’s Garden Trail, a relatively easy hike that descends into the canyon and winds among some of the park’s most iconic formations. For a longer loop, combine it with the Navajo Trail for a more immersive journey through Bryce’s dramatic scenery.
Once we've basked in Bryce's beauty, we'll return to Salt Lake City for guest drop-offs.
The approximate time of arrival in Salt Lake City for hotel and airport drop-offs is 5:30 p.m.—6:00 p.m. If you are flying out today, please plan to depart after 7:00 p.m.
