After arriving mid-afternoon, we will settle into our downtown hotel with time to settle before dinner.
This evening, we gather for a welcome dinner at a downtown restaurant and then drive past some of Salt Lake City's notable sites before returning to the hotel.
We begin our day at the beautiful Utah State Capitol, where we will learn about the state’s history, government, and early settlement while enjoying sweeping views over the city.
Later this afternoon, we will enjoy a short stop at the International Peace Gardens before returning to the hotel to relax.
Here we will enjoy a scenic chairlift ride for panoramic views of alpine forests and autumn color.
