Fr. Pratap Reddy Salibindla, OFM, born in the suburbs of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, South India, has walked a long road which led him first to the Priesthood in the Order of Friars Minor (OFM-Franciscans), India, and then ultimately to serve the people of God in the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, Minnesota, since May 2011. Beloved by the rural parishes he serves, Fr. Pratap has established himself as an avid proponent of pilgrimage as a means of deepening one's faith as well as the bonds of community within the church.

Today, we embark upon our pilgrimage as we board our long flights across the Atlantic Ocean. We do our best to get some rest as we anticipate our arrival the next day.
The itinerary for this pilgrimage has been designed to allow for travelers to book their own flights to and from Europe without the fear of missing vital sightseeing and worship opportunities.
The flights shown below are best utilized by those traveling from the Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP) airport. For all others, we recommend timing your own flights to arrive in Lisbon and return from Toulouse around the same time as the flights shown here.

Upon our arrival in Lisbon, we proceed through EU customs and are greeted by our dedicated Tour Escort in the international arrivals area. We are then escorted to our bus and soon arrive at our hotel to check in.
Early this evening, we gather at a church within walking distance of our hotel to celebrate the first Mass of our pilgrimage.
After Mass, we return to our hotel to enjoy a special Welcome Dinner to celebrate the start of our shared journey.
Stopping in Santarém, our group enjoys a walk through the historic center and a visit to the Sanctuary of the Most Holy Miracle where we may venerate the Eucharistic Miracle kept therein.
Our time in Fátima begins with Mass at the Basilica.

We begin the day with Mass at Basilica of the Holy Trinity
Later, we visit the homes of the visionaries in Aljustrel and the site of Valinhos to learn about the young shepherd children who inspired millions.
This afternoon, we enjoy some free time to explore and pray as we each see fit.
Optional for all pilgrims, a truly special and moving experience which joins pilgrims together in shared worship and reverence for Our Lady.

Upon our arrival in this storied city, our group will enjoy a guided visit that includes the Plaza Mayor, the Casa de las Conchas, and both the Old and New Cathedrals.

Our group will experience a guided tour of the city's famous walls as well as the fortress-cathedral that dominates the skyline.
The route then leads to Monastery of El Escorial - a picturesque royal monastery and royal palace located just a short distance from the busy metropolis of Madrid.

Our day begins with Mass at the magnificent Almudena Cathedral located just a short distance from Madrid's Royal Palace.
Following Mass, we enjoy a guided city tour featuring the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor & Retiro Park.
The remainder of our afternoon will be spent at leisure. Within Retiro Park there are countless ways to pass the time and our centrally located hotel makes an afternoon nap a real possibility too!
Located within the Parque del Retiro is the world famous Prado Museum. Known for its vast collection of priceless works of art, particularly by the Spanish masters Velázquez, Goya, and El Greco, the Prado is a must see during your time in Madrid.

After arriving in Zaragoza, we experience Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. One of two cathedrals in the city, this basilica was built to honor the Church's oldest accepted Marian apparition - dating back to 40AD when Our Lady appeared to the Apostle James the Greater.
After Mass and a tour of the Basilica, we continue to the nearby La Seo Cathedral, followed by a walk through the historic center.

Upon arriving in Lourdes we will proceed to our hotel to check in and deposit our luggage.
Soon after our arrival in Lourdes, our group enjoys an unforgettable Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary.
Following Mass, we begin a guided visit of the Sanctuary, including the Grotto of Massabielle, the Basilica of St. Pius X, & Stations of the Cross.
These meals are included for all pilgrims.
Today, our group is given ample time for individual prayer and reflection. The healing waters of Lourdes - either through full submersion at the baths or through the simple Water Gesture at the many fountains around the Sanctuary - await us as we spend the day in reverence and prayer.
Our group will enjoy an unforgettable Mass in the grotto. Exact timing TBD.
This afternoon, those who wish may participate in the Eucharistic Procession that culminates in the Blessing of the Sick.
This evening after dinner, those who wish may participate in the Candlelight Procession which has become synonymous with the Lourdes Sanctuary.

After a leisurely morning and some free time to explore Lourdes individually, our group will gather for a noontime Mass in Lourdes before departing for Toulouse.
Upon arriving in Toulouse, the group will be given a few hours to rest before our Farewell Dinner this evening.
Before our farewell dinner, those who wish may explore the nearby city center. Of particular interest is the Basilica of St. Sernin, a key stop on the Way of St. james for French pilgrims.
Tonight, we celebrate the end of our pilgrimage with one last dinner as a group.
