This trip offers immersive professional development through school visits, allowing educators to engage directly with local teachers and students, observe classrooms, and participate in meaningful dialogue about education systems around the world. These experiences foster fresh perspectives and practical ideas to bring back home.
Professional Development – High Level
This trip includes educator discussions, offering authentic opportunities for cultural exchange and professional growth. While you may not be matched with your exact grade level, you’ll gain meaningful insights to reflect on and bring back to your classroom. Participants will receive a certificate for 50 professional development hours. The true magic of PD on this trip comes from the organic conversations and connections you make with fellow educators along the way.
Also NOTE - most schools in France do not have air conditioning
Graduate Credits- In addition, we have partnered with an accredited university to allow participants to earn 1 graduate credit for an additional $100 or 3 graduate credits for an additional $300.

Home Stay Option - Most homes do not have air conditioning and they do speak primarily French. The whole purpose is to gain a cultural experience and learn what your ESOL students do everyday!

Come and explore the magnificent Notre Dame, a stunning example of Gothic architecture. Marvel at its intricate details, soaring towers, and beautiful stained glass windows. Take a moment to appreciate the rich history that surrounds this iconic cathedral, which has stood for centuries in the heart of Paris.
Enjoy light refreshments while getting to know your leaders and other fellows. Engage in a short session to go over safety and what the trip will look like.
Visit the iconic Eiffel Tower, a symbol of Paris and a magnificent architectural marvel that attracts millions of visitors each year.

Learn about the French education system by diving deep into the department of education. Our guide will answer all questions so you feel prepared when going into the schools.
Discover the breathtaking Château de Chambord, a masterpiece of the French Renaissance. Nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley, its stunning architecture features over 440 rooms and a unique double-helix staircase attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. Surrounded by a vast park, this UNESCO World Heritage site invites you to explore its rich history and beautiful gardens. A visit here promises a magical experience steeped in elegance and grandeur.

Immerse yourself in their unique teaching styles and learn from their art of teaching, gaining valuable insights that can enhance your own educational approach. Reflect on the school and chat with each other about the insights you have learned, comparing French schools to USA schools.

Another day spent visiting various French schools and immersing ourselves in the unique art of teaching that they offer. We will have the opportunity to observe engaging classroom environments, innovative teaching methods, and the passion that educators bring to their work. Each school visit promises to provide valuable insights into the educational practices that make French schools so renowned and successful.
The perfect time to bring in family involvement. You get to ask questions to the parents about their experience in the French education system. There will be translators to help assist.
A training filled with insights on the French education system and how we can bring what we have learned back to our classrooms in the US. After the training, we will take a ride around the town to see the atmospheres and neighborhoods of the students who attend this school.
Our last dinner in Châtellerault to celebrate everything we have learned and the relationships we have built before heading to our next stop in France.

Engage in conversations with educational leaders, meet inspectors, and enjoy a visit to the rectorate with coffee and biscuits.
We will celebrate our time in Poitiers by meeting new educators and collaborating with them over a nice dinner. This will be our farewell to the French educators and schools.

Perfect for travelers looking to save and connect. Share a comfortable room with another traveler and enjoy all the same great experiences at a lower cost. If you’re traveling with a friend, let us know your roommate preference at checkout. Otherwise, we’ll thoughtfully pair you with someone of a similar age and teaching level.
If we cannot place you with a roommate the single room rate will apply, we hope you understand.
Ideal for those who prefer extra privacy. Relax in your own room after each day’s adventure while still enjoying all group activities and inclusions. A great option for travelers who want a little more personal space.
Heads-Up, Snoozers! If you snore like a bear, rock a CPAP machine, need white noise, or have any other quirky sleep habits, we totally understand — everyone has their bedtime vibe! But to keep things peaceful for your fellow travelers, please consider booking a private room.
Even better? Bring a friend you’ve already shared a room (and some laughs) with, and have them register too!
