The Rove Numby Station Escape is a fully hosted rural overnight getaway designed for guests seeking an authentic Australian paddock-to-plate experience (with or without the hiking) tailored to their tastes.
Set on our expansive sheep and cattle station in rural NSW, guests stay in luxurious bell tents beside the historic Rosewood Cottage, enjoying long-table dining, campfires, creek swims, and immersion in the Australian bush. With locally sourced meals, relaxed country hospitality, and no phone reception or distractions, guests can slow down, reconnect, and experience a truly memorable and uniquely Australian setting.
Enjoy the base package, which includes delicious food and gentle walks around the property, or design your days with activities that let you experience farm life, engage in something creative, or enjoy a more active option like a walk or Pilates session.
Drive to before we meet you at our meeting point to transfer you and your luggage to Rosewood Cottage (or opt to drive your own 4WD in).
Group check-in can occur between 1 PM and 5PM (with prior arrangement).
Meet Dave and his team of working dogs and see them work livestock, follow commands and they are always up for a pat!
Dave can tell you about each dogs strengths, personality, achievements and the "blue-tooth" connection between dog and handler. Meet champions like "Chuck" a NSW Cattle Dog Maiden Champion, and "Skye," a Huntaway imported from New Zealand. Watch these talented dogs in action, working livestock, and, if you're lucky, meet some of their adorable puppies!
Happy hour drinks on the deck with a a grazing plate followed by a three course meal starring Numby produce (naturally!). Dessert is often eaten on laps by the huge open fire in the lounge room or by the fire pit under the stars.

Hosted by Sharee who has 22 years of experience and a deep passion for fitness. Whether you're looking for a gentle stretch or a more dynamic workout, Sharee can customise your session to meet your groups needs.

Pack your bags and we will transfer you and your luggage back to your cars anytime before midday. Or drive your own 4WD's out.

Book this as your own private group; perfect for small groups of friends, special celebrations, anyone wanting to camp out without the hassle of arranging all the food and logistics!
This is a fully hosted experience so there will be an onsite host looking after your group for the duration of your stay.
Catering is prepared onsite by your host and cook- your dinner parties in the evening to fresh scones mid-morning.

Some alcohol is provided during the evening meal. If you would like a drink outside of these times please BYO.
The Stay, Feast long weekend check in/out windows are DAY 1: between 1-5pm and DAY3: between 7-11am
Check in and check out times are flexible to suit your groups travel plans however we ask you to confirm a time for the whole group to meet us at the transfer point rather than arriving at different times.
You can make your own way into Rosewood Cottage but access is via 4 wheel-drive only.
There is no mobile phone service, wi-fi or television at Rosewood Cottage, it is a totally unplugged weekend! We do alternative ways to communicate in an emergency.
We are happy to cater for dietary requirements and tailor your menu with plenty of notice.
