From March 18 to 30, 2027, the YU community will travel together from Taipei to Tokyo, Kyoto/Osaka and Okinawa for a unique 13-day Martial Arts & Culture Tour.

During the journey, we will experience some of the most fascinating sides of Taiwan and Japan – from Taipei 101, night markets and Tai Chi to Japanese dojos, Tokyo, temples, Zen gardens, a traditional tea ceremony and a monastery stay.

The journey ends in Okinawa, where martial arts, island culture, nature and the sea come together for a special final chapter of the tour.

This is more than a sightseeing trip. It is a shared YU experience combining martial arts, personal development, culture, tradition and community.

From March 18 to 30, 2027, the YU community will travel together through Taiwan and Japan on a unique Martial Arts & Culture Tour.

Our journey takes us from Taipei to Tokyo, Kyoto/Osaka and Okinawa – combining martial arts, culture, tradition, personal development and unforgettable shared experiences.

From Tai Chi in Taipei and training in local dojos to temples, Zen gardens, the Shinkansen, a traditional tea ceremony and a monastery stay, every destination offers a different side of Asia.

During the YU Martial Arts & Culture Tour 2027, participants will stay in selected hotels and accommodations throughout Taiwan and Japan.

The journey includes accommodation in Taipei, Tokyo, the Kyoto/Osaka area and Okinawa. One of the special experiences of the tour is an overnight stay in a Japanese monastery in the Kyoto/Osaka region.

Room options include double rooms, suitable family or multi-bed rooms, and single rooms where available.

Exact hotel and accommodation details will be shared with registered participants as the tour approaches.
