We had an adventurous trip. From a sunset Acropolis tour to relaxing on beautiful beaches. I enjoyed it all.

I cannot recommend working with Julia and somewhere we know enough. We had an absolutely epic 12 day vacation that was completely organized by Julia. Not only that she supported us through two Covid diagnosis mid-trip and changes in plans for two of our party! Our visit not only was cohesive but it was put together in such a way that we were able to build on our knowledge and experiences with each stop. We had absolutely fabulous guides for almost all of our excursions and the difference that made was well worth the money! I cannot imagine our experience without having their wonderful guidance and knowledge from the Parthenon to Delphi to Naxos to Crete. Julia listened to our groups interests and wants and made them happen! The only less than enjoyable experience we had included a cruise to the island of Poros, Hydra and Aegina. That particular cruise was incredibly impersonal, had constant upselling, was very crowded, and didn’t offer a significant amount of time to enjoy these three gorgeous islands. I would suggest skipping and maybe just picking one to spend the day exploring. Our favorite excursions were by far Delphi and the olive oil, wine tasting and cooking class on Crete out of Chania. Our itinerary was well organized with a good amount of time to explore while also having some structure. Julia made sure we had transportation figured out, activities timed appropriately, and even helped with our airport planning for arrival and heading out of the country. This trip is something that I will never forget, and I am so grateful that we found Julia and Somewhere We Know. I will be recommending them to everyone. I speak to who is even considering a trip to Greece!

We had a great time. Everything went so smoothly, and the arrangements were great! Couldn't have asked for more. Julia was particularly wonderful. In the planning stages she really listened to what I was looking for. She was very responsive to my questions, and exceptionally prompt in her replies. We had multiple changes during the planning period, and she dealt with them all very efficiently. The tours that were arranged were great - the transportation showed up exactly when it was supposed to, and the guides were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. this trip was truly exceptional. The cooking class in Naxos was an absolute delight—learning to prepare traditional Greek dishes and then savoring them was a culinary adventure we'll cherish forever. In Santorini, the wine tasting tour offered an exquisite journey through local flavors, complemented by breathtaking views of the caldera. One of the most memorable experiences was sailing around Naxos. The opportunity to relax on the crystal-clear waters, soak in the sun, and explore hidden coves was simply perfect. And the walking food tour in Athens was a fantastic way to dive into the city's vibrant food scene. Each bite was a revelation, and the local guides added a personal touch that made the tour incredibly enriching. The food throughout our trip was incredible—each meal was a celebration of Greece's rich culinary heritage. We were also impressed by the smooth and seamless transportation arrangements that made traveling between destinations a breeze. In addition to the fantastic activities and excellent logistics, the warmth and friendliness of the people we met added an extra layer of magic to our trip. We truly felt immersed in Greek culture and hospitality. A huge thank you to Somewhere We Know for orchestrating such a flawless and memorable vacation.
