Lovely week learning Spanish half the day and enjoying Nosara the other half. I enjoyed my class and appreciated the small class size of three, and the conversational approach which invited us to go beyond rote repetition of phrases. Marcela was a good, friendly and responsive teacher who encouraged us to try communicating bigger ideas with what we'd learned. I liked the morning classes - starting my day with a sunrise at the beach then walking up to the school through the Bodhi Tree resort was lovely. Then having the second part of the day to meet my friends, have lunch and go around Nosara. If I'd come on my own, I think the homestay offering would have been a good way to extend my learning. There was a small issue with my class, and the Nosara Spanish Institute team were super responsive and quick to address it - which I appreciated. Overall a great fast immersion and I'd consider coming back.

Everyone at NSI was excellent! The teachers were very attentive and knowledgeable. My classmates were also wonderful people. I stayed in "student housing" run by NSI--the room was very comfortable and it was nice to be with fellow students.

The NSI program was a top notch experience. Broc runs a tight program with flexibility to adapt to individual student needs. I would recommend this program to anyone thinking of getting a better foundation in the Spanish language. I learned so much in the 3 weeks at 20 hours a week of class time. I highly recommend staying at least that long for a beginner. The professors were patient and kind and a lot of fun!🤩 the area was beautiful as well. October was rainy season but it was not bad at all and I got to witness the Arribata of sea turtles. That was super magical so I would attend at this time of year. Also, it’s not tourist season in October so it was not as crowded.

This is a wonderful program, everyone is very welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. The accommodations at the school residence was also fantastic with everything you could need. I hope to be able to attend here again in the future.

I Love Nosara Spanish Institute! My husband and I move to Nosara recently and we really wanted to learn Spanish and NSI has been amazing. They have the best teachers, the classes are very well structured and fun. Everyone there has been super helpful and really nice. My husband and I did private lessons and group lessons. Both are great, it just really depends on what you need. I highly recommend it.
