After getting early breakfast at the hotel in Arusha, with your packed lunch you drive to Ndutu via Olduvai Gorge (takes 4 to 6 hours). Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the northern plains of Ngorongoro Conservation Area, in which early human fossils were discovered. After learning from the site, you will have your lunch and then drive to Serengeti National Park. While on the way, you will have chances to view game before reaching the campsite/lodge in the evening. We'll start our day with a hot air balloon safari. After the ride, we will return to the lodge. Enjoy your day at the lodge. The great migration reaches here with its over two million animals to give birth to their calves and thousands of animals are born daily between the end of December and the beginning of March. This also attracts many predators like lions, Cheater and hyenas.

After breakfast, with packed lunch drive to Serengeti National Park, doing game drive on the way to central Serengeti. Enjoy the drive as we explore this world heritage site, where earth’s largest concentration of plain game still roams freely. After breakfast, with packed lunch you will drive southward towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with wildlife viewing on the way. You will have your lunch at Naabi Hill (exit gate in Serengeti) as you sign-in to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After lunch, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and while on the way you will stop to one of the MaasaiBomas in the Ngorongoro Area to learn, experience and enjoy Maasai culture, their traditional dancing and handcrafts. After early breakfast you will descend to the crater for early morning game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as the pride of lions that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. You will enjoy your lunch at a picnic site in the crater floor and proceed with afternoon game drive to Karatu, Farm of Dreams https://farmofdreamslodge.com/ 

 After breakfast, we will drive to the Southwest end of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (with our packed lunch accompanied by a local guide) to the Hadzabe and Datoga communities which are the only remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa. At mid-day we will start our drive back to Arusha for rest. 

Today we will visit Seela village to meet with community members, participate in tree planting and roast coffee.
