Had the best time till I got sick the fifth day. The only minus was the flight from n. Carolina. Couldn’t sleep which is not what I expected. I was numb from waist down and didn’t have enough room to adjust. Sat in second seat of four. Hard to eat and couldn’t open any packaging since we were not allowed scissors. Food was good though. On the way back, from JFK, our connecting flight was pleasurable. The steward and stewardess were older and made you feel like a queen. The seats were leather and plush. Don’t remember the airline name, think it started with an “a”. The Liverpool segment was the best! Loved hotel, venues and food. Oxford was ok but couldn’ do the walking tour but went to a bookstore and museum where several others were sitting. Glad of the option. Missed London after that due to flu. (. Glad I had a private room because of that. ) it’s been a week, canwalk without a cane now but still have lingering symptoms of flu. Phil really earned my tip. he and Kevin really took care of me and am sorry for h/a I caused them . Didn’t see Kevin on return but will be sending his tip in. I already think I I would like to go back in 2 yrs with better health. I wouldn’t change anything except maybe the Oxford part. The changing of hotels was so tiresome. And the handling of luggage so many times was tough on you guys. Maybe spend that night in London also and drive to Oxford from there. Then only two hotels. It was tough to be in Windsor when I was already sick and couldn’t participate and nowhere to sleep, but luckily the bus driver let me on and spent day sleeping on bus. If I had a hotel room to go to then, I might not have spread my illness. From then on, I didn’t eat and the rest of the time was a blur and thankful I had a quiet and comfortable room to recuperate in. Thanks again to Phil and Kevin and will always have fond memories of this trip.( i didn’t want to see a doctor as I was afraid he would put me in the hospital since I have a blood disease also. I knew what I had to do, sleep, hydrate and seclude myself.)
West Virginia was beautiful this October. We especially liked the coal mine tour, the lunches at Greenbriar and on the Potomac Eagle train, and visitng Kentuck Knob and Falling Water.
My trip was planned and organized vary Well. the hotel rooms were very nice. The food was very good also very good with lots of fun activities planned and also some free time to explore on my own. The acoustic super friends Are a very good Musicians with a great selection of songs I found them very entertaining and enjoyable.
Prime Tours did an excellent job with their arrangements. I would recommend them.
It was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed all aspects of it. What a great group of people! Loved being with those that have the same passion for everything Beatles and British music. Traveling with the band was so much fun and they were so good! I felt that everything was well coordinated, so my thanks to Kevin and Phil. Also Lisa and the rest of the staff. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much for everything.
