I had an amazing trip. Kevin was a wonderful guide and so knowledgeable. I loved every place we went but would have loved to have been dropped off at Macys for a few hours rather than the Chelsea market if that would be doable logistically. I would highly suggest a nicer bus with more comfortable seats for such a long drive but thats the only thing I would change. Thanks for a wonderful memorable trip! Happy New Year!! Brenda Griffith

It was busy but what was expected. Had some good food. Sometimes hard to find time to eat. Rockette show had a poor selection for what was suppose to be a lunch snack. Phil was outstanding getting us all on target with times to be at certain places. Great value for this trip. Christmas time is certainly busy in NYC. Got in 2 great shows with '& Juliet' and 'MJ'.

The trip by bus to New York was very interesting. Those on the trip were amazing folks who, for the most part, were on this adventure to have some fun. Bus drivers were very skilled and got us out of some difficult situations. Tour guides offered basic information. Lots in the group so sometimes difficult to hear. Lunch breaks were short thus requiring me to pack up after a few bites and eat later for dinner. There really was alot of walking every day. Might be useful to note that in the trip description. This bus offered very minimal leg room which is difficult for those of us with long legs. The high point was seeing the Rockets. The Radio City Tour wasn't that interesting but lots of up n down walking. Seats were in good position so all could be seen. Hotel room was excellent! Queen beds and clean too. Thanks for asking for my evaluation of this New York adventure!

New York Holiday - Dec. 15 - 18, 2024 I found New York City to be amazing. That said, the bus we traveled on needed some inside maint., starting with the bathroom door would fly open when the bus came upon rough roads. Several of the foot rests were missing, several of the drink holders were broken or missing. I was not informed that a cell phone was needed for the trip - but found out is was. The itinerary was updated daily and even moment to moment, which not all participants were made aware. Our first bus pick-up was to be at 5:00a.m., leaving for our adventure at 5:30. The bus did not arrive until sometime after 5:30a.m.. The bus driver missed the next 2 pick-up points in Columbus, and left the bus at some parking lot in the Columbus area, where we met up with the rest of the travelers and a new bus driver. We were very late for our dinner reservations at our Hotel in NYC - we went straight to dinner, with all the carry-on's we had on the bus. My dining experience was hampered with no room for travel carry-on - coat - purse, etc. The next day we went to Radio City, and the Rockettes - the meet-up point was unclear - one of the group, did not make it to the bus, and we left him to walk back to the Hotel. At one point I became unclear of a meet-up time, and called Kevin - and am still waiting for a response. I found that in a group of 50 people not all directions were made clear and once left to investigate a site not having a document/Itinerary was confusing. I have been on other Bus trips, where I received a printout daily, when changes were needed to the schedule. On the last day, after visiting Wall Street and Alexander Hamilton's grave, I followed Evan (our second tour guide) - we were to go to a pick-up point and head home. Evan was not clear on the actual pick up point, and after heading 3 or 4 blocks in the wrong direction, called Kevin ( who actually took his call) - we walked back and eventually found the pick-up point. In the future I will be asking who the tour guide will be.

A long bus ride to see a great city! It has always been my wife's desire to see New York City at Christmas time. We were able to see all the things she wanted to see. The best part had to be the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. The show was spectacular! Edison hotel is located less than a block from Time Square. Great location.
