The trip runs from either Victoria Falls, Livingstone or Kasane Hotels and Lodges. From its north-east entry gate, it’s less than 100 km to the Victoria Falls and Livingstone. Chobe National Park is the ideal location for any visitor interested in a combination of the natural wonder of the Victoria Falls and magnificent wildlife sightings. The nearest town to the park is called Kasane. Camping Trip in the famous Chobe national park of Botswana which is known by its elephants.
At 07h30 Guests are transferred from their respective hotels/lodges to Kasane Botswana and are escorted through Immigration formalities. A short briefing will follow on some pertinent facts such as safety, and some regional information. At 09h30 guests board the boat and commence a 3 hour boat cruise into the Chobe National park. The river cruise is considered one of the highlights of the trip, as one gets the opportunity to get up close and personal with fantastic bird-life, hippos, crocodiles, and of course scores of elephant and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. The boat cruise ends at the Coffee Buzz restaurant at 12h30. There is an opportunity to do last minute shopping in Kasane, as there are no shops within the Park. Guests then depart on an afternoon game drive - this being the best time to see Chobe’s large herbivores making their way down to the river to drink.
