Holly Hoffman, PsyD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California and New York
Dr. Holly’s passion for mental health began after losing a friend to an eating disorder, inspiring her to volunteer at a suicide hotline and later pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. During her graduate studies, she trained in a wide range of clinical settings, including hospitals, college counseling centers, and low-cost community clinics. She developed expertise in anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, chronic health conditions, and neurodivergence. When the pandemic hit, Dr. Holly discovered her love for the outdoors, quit her hospital job, and relocated to South Lake Tahoe with her husband, where she maintains a primarily virtual private practice. She works with adults, teens, couples, and families ages 10+ and provides evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT, and FBT. At this retreat, Dr. Holly combines her clinical expertise and love of nature to guide participants in reducing stress, reconnecting with themselves, and fostering balance in their lives.
Kylie Swenson
Kylie’s journey into yoga began after a major spinal fusion surgery with Harrington Rods at 14 years old left her in pain and feeling rigid. Through the discipline of yoga, Kylie found freedom from her physical pain and fell in love with its ability to calm the mind. She has spent the past nineteen years learning about the body through experience and deep research. Her classes are empowering, heartfelt, and accommodating for all levels (those who have never taken a yoga class will feel safe and seen, while experienced practitioners will be offered new challenges and perspectives to enhance their practice).
