Join us for a rejuvenating weekend of adventure and reflection in the heart of Kanab, Utah. Easily accessible from the highway, our retreat offers a peaceful oasis in a traditional-style Hacienda, where tranquility and connection await.

This retreat features trauma-informed yoga and somatic practices designed to promote deeper HEALing. Whether you're seeking to explore the desert's stillness or simply unwind, we've created a perfect space for you.

With a variety of room options and the warmth of communal living, our lodge-style accommodations offer a cozy and welcoming environment. Not sure about meeting new people? Bring some friends along for a shared weekend of peace and connection!

The Yoga

 During this retreat, we will be offering a variety of yoga styles designed to promote deep HEALing and rejuvenation. Each day will feature Vinyasa Flow sessions, where movement is synchronized with breath, offering a dynamic, energizing practice that builds strength and flexibility. For those seeking a gentler approach, our Gentle Flow classes will focus on mindful movement and relaxation, perfect for unwinding after outdoor adventures. We’ll also dive into Yin Yoga, a slower-paced practice where long-held postures help release tension and encourage deep tissue relaxation. To round out the experience, we’ll offer Yoga Nidra sessions, a guided meditation technique known as “yogic sleep” that promotes profound relaxation and mental clarity. Each practice is thoughtfully designed to support your body and mind as you journey through the desert landscape.

The Adventure

 

During this retreat, we’ll immerse ourselves in the breathtaking natural beauty of Kanab, Utah, where outdoor adventure and serenity await at every turn. You'll have the opportunity to explore the stunning Moqui Caves, with their fascinating rock formations, and experience the surreal White Wave, a dazzling area known for its smooth, white sandstone waves. We'll embark on epic red rock hikes, winding through Kanab’s signature red sandstone cliffs and canyons, offering unparalleled views and a chance to connect deeply with the land. As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a soothing Yin Yoga session, perfectly timed to capture the tranquil energy of the desert at dusk. These outdoor experiences, designed to rejuvenate both body and spirit, will leave you feeling grounded and inspired by the vast beauty of this unique desert landscape.

The Food

 At our retreats, we believe that food is an integral part of your healing journey. That’s why we’re offering freshly prepared, deeply nourishing vegetarian meals that are designed to heal both body and mind. Each meal is crafted with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients to support your well-being and enhance your retreat experience. We take great care in tailoring our menus to meet the dietary needs of our attendees, ensuring that every bite fuels you for both adventure and relaxation. From energizing breakfasts to satisfying dinners, our meals will leave you feeling balanced, nourished, and connected to the earth.

    We'll be exploring the local history and topography as well as the iconic red rocks known to the area. Plan on epic hikes, slot canyons and the iconic red rocks the area is known for!

Shayla is a Utah native massage therapist with a deep love for the outdoors, natural healing, and overall wellness. Inspired by the rugged beauty of her home state, she hand crafts all her massage products using naturally sourced ingredients, ensuring every session is grounded in authenticity and care. 


Her unique approach blends the peaceful stillness of nature with the thrill of adventure, inviting clients to explore their own balance between mindfulness and spontaneity. Whether you’re seeking deeper self-connection or the gentle rejuvenation of a skilled, nature-inspired massage, 

Shayla is here to guide you on that journey, weaving together the quiet strength of the wilderness with the healing power of touch.

60 Minute Facial with Candice

 Candice is a licensed esthetitican with Footzonology and Reiki certifications. Candice lives in Ogden UT with her husband Ryan and son, Brady. She loves traveling to places new and old, and enjoys golfing, skiing, playing games, watching movies and going on adventures.


Candice has been holding space as a team member for our retreats for 5 years, and we can't imagine retreat life without her amazing grounding energy and stability. Our yogis love receiving a facial from Candice and always look like they're glowing for the remainder of their time with us!


Candice has a truly special energy and we hope you get the chance to know her!

Itinerary

Day 1
Check In / Dinner / Opening Yoga

Check-in will begin at 4:45 pm, giving you time to settle in and explore the hacienda.

Afterwards, we’ll gather for a delicious dinner in the common room, followed by a gentle yoga flow to ease into the retreat. We’ll wrap up the evening with a relaxing "Getting to Know You" session, where you’ll have the chance to connect with fellow attendees.

Our all inclusive yoga retreats provide deeper reflection into self, yoga and nature with mindfully cultivated experiences in the Utah deserts and mountains. Join us for silent hike meditations to sunset yin on a mountain top, to an invigorating SUP yoga practice on a lake with plenty of time for reflection in between.

I had an amazing experience! The accommodations, the food, and the facilitators were outstanding! The activities were well-planned, but it was also very laid-back which allowed us to all just go with the flow. I can’t pick a favorite because they were all outstanding - yoga on the beach, hiking, paddle boarding, boating, massage, facial, yoga and chakra healing, plus a surprise event to close out the retreat. I have so much gratitude for all the women I met. I can’t wait to book with Heal Yoga again!
