The journey starts at around 12 p.m. at the Cuyabeno reserve gate and lasts for around three hours as we ride down the river to our lodge while searching for monkeys, birds, and other wildlife. Midday meal and leisure time. You will swim, take in the sunset, and explore the river and lagoons in the afternoon in search of additional wildlife. You will go on a canoe trip at night to look for caimans. evening meal. Every evening, our naturalist guide will offer a variety of lectures on topics related to the Amazon rainforest, such as "Culture and communities, flora, fauna, and conservation," for any of our guests who are interested in knowing more. 

 After breakfast, you will have a four-hour walk through the main forest accompanied by a naturalist guide who will tell you about different kinds of insects, frogs, birds, and medicinal plants. Relax and have lunch in the camp. In the afternoon, you may explore the waterways in a traditional rowing canoe and appreciate the uniqueness of nature. In addition to enjoying the river's sunset, you might even be able to see some pink dolphins if the weather permits. Return to the lodge to prepare for the night climb. Dinner. This evening, you'll get the opportunity to learn about and try some of the Amazon's traditional drinks.  

 After breakfast, you are prepared for an amazing morning of peacefully exploring waterways and the flooded forest with its unique biodiversity in a traditional rowing boat. Moving slowly and quietly throughout this activity can increase your chances of seeing more species of birds, sloths, dolphins, monkeys, and other animals.
Relax and have lunch in the camp. After two hours of relaxation, you will make and consume chocolate and coffee the old-fashioned way. You have the option of attending our lectures after dinner, or if you're more of an explorer, we've made plans for you to spend the evening or many hours listening to the amazing sounds of the jungle at a spot deep within the forest.   

 After a delicious breakfast, we will have a tour of the community. We will be guided around the neighborhood by an indigenous lady who will educate us on their language, dress, and rituals. Since we will be preparing lunch with her, she will also tell us about their food. In the afternoon, we will learn about Amazonian medicinal plants and customs from the community's shaman. After this exciting day, we return to the lodge, have dinner, and relax.  
 

 In order to observe the dawn and search for birds, we will take an early morning stroll along the river. Following this exercise, you will return to the camp, eat breakfast, and have some time to organize your belongings. You will then paddle the canoe back and spend around two hours along the Cuyabeno River looking for further animals. Around 11 a.m., you may catch a shuttle back to Quito at the reserve's entrance.
