In Greenwich, we visit Ranger’s House, used as the exterior of the Bridgerton family home, followed by the grand Old Royal Naval College, whose colonnades and courtyards appear throughout the series.

This morning we step into royal splendour at Hampton Court Palace, one of England’s most magnificent historic residences and a key filming location for Queen Charlotte’s palace scenes in Bridgerton.

Originally built for Cardinal Wolsey and later claimed by Henry VIII, Hampton Court offers a fascinating blend of Tudor drama and later royal refinement. We explore its grand halls, atmospheric courtyards, and beautifully landscaped gardens, gaining insight into court life, power, and pageantry across the centuries.

After our palace visit, we make our way to the nearby riverside village of Richmond, widely regarded as one of London’s most attractive and village-like neighbourhoods. With its elegant Georgian streets, independent shops, and relaxed pace, Richmond feels worlds away from the bustle of central London.

There is time here to enjoy lunch at leisure, browse local boutiques, or take a gentle stroll along the River Thames, where swans glide past historic boathouses and riverside pubs. Departing London this morning, we travel west through the rolling countryside of southern England, watching the landscape soften from city streets to patchwork fields and stone villages.

On arrival in the beautiful city of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we step into one of England’s most harmonious and architecturally refined cities. Bath’s honey-coloured Georgian buildings famously double for Regency London in Bridgerton, making it one of the most immersive filming locations of the entire series.

We begin with a gentle orientation walk, taking in the sweeping curve of the Royal Crescent, perhaps the finest example of Georgian urban design in Britain. Nearby, we explore No.1 Royal Crescent, offering insight into the lives of the Georgian elite whose world inspired much of Bridgerton’s visual style.

Continuing through the city, we pass elegant streets and squares used for promenade and street scenes in the series before reaching the heart of Roman Bath. Here, we visit the remarkably preserved Roman Baths, where guests discover the city’s origins as a Roman spa nearly 2,000 years ago — a striking contrast to the Georgian refinement seen elsewhere.

The afternoon is left flexible, allowing time to explore Bath at leisure. Guests may choose to browse independent shops, relax in a café, visit Bath Abbey, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of this beautifully preserved city.

Our first visit is to Basildon Park, a refined 18th-century country house set high above the Thames Valley. Used as a filming location in Bridgerton, Basildon Park’s graceful interiors and sweeping parkland evoke the world of Regency society, where appearances, alliances, and carefully choreographed social gatherings shaped daily life. Inside, we explore the principal rooms and learn how houses like this functioned as both private homes and public stages for the social season.

From here, we continue deeper into the English countryside, passing through quiet villages, farmland, and tree-lined lanes before arriving at Wrest Park. Renowned for its formal gardens, Wrest Park reflects the fashion among Britain’s elite for European-inspired landscapes — from French parterres to Italian terraces. These gardens appear in Bridgerton as grand country settings, but they also tell a broader story of wealth, influence, and the desire to display taste and power through landscape design.

Time is allowed to stroll the gardens at a relaxed pace, appreciating the symmetry, water features, and long views that were designed to impress visiting guests. This is a chance to slow down and fully absorb the atmosphere of aristocratic England.

Our first major stop is the magnificent Castle Howard, one of England’s most spectacular stately homes and the filming location for Clyvedon Castle, the Duke of Hastings’ estate in Bridgerton.

Set within vast landscaped parkland, Castle Howard combines Baroque grandeur with sweeping lakes and classical gardens. Time is allowed to explore the richly decorated interiors, stroll the formal grounds, and take in views across the estate — a setting that perfectly captures the romance and scale of the series, while also offering insight into centuries of aristocratic life in England.

After our visit, we continue into the surrounding countryside to the picturesque village of Hovingham, widely regarded as one of North Yorkshire’s prettiest villages. With its honey-coloured stone cottages, traditional village green, and historic inn, Hovingham offers a wonderful contrast to the grandeur of Castle Howard.

We visit the magnificent York Minster, followed by a walk along the York City Walls, offering panoramic views over the city.

There is time to explore The Shambles, as well as discover York’s Roman and Viking heritage.

The evening is free to enjoy York’s restaurants, pubs, or an optional ghost walk.

After breakfast, we begin our return journey to London, traveling through the English heartland. Our route takes us away from the motorways where possible, passing through gentle countryside dotted with stone villages, village greens, and traditional pubs. We make a relaxed stop in Helmsley, a charming market town on the edge of the North York Moors, known for its independent shops, honey-stone buildings, and castle ruins. This is a lovely place for coffee, browsing, and a gentle stroll.

Continuing south, we pass through rolling farmland and quiet lanes before stopping for lunch in the picturesque village of Stamford, often described as one of England’s prettiest towns. With its Georgian streets, historic inns, and riverside setting, Stamford feels like stepping back in time and offers an authentic taste of traditional English life.

In the afternoon, our journey continues through the countryside of the Midlands, with views of patchwork fields, hedgerows, and church spires rising above village rooftops. As we draw closer to London, the landscape gradually shifts, marking our return to the capital.
