Once you reach the golden monkeys' territory, the real magic unfolds. You may hear the distinctive calls and rustling of leaves as the monkeys jump from tree to tree, displaying their acrobatic skills. Golden monkeys are incredibly agile, leaping through the canopy with grace and agility, making for an awe-inspiring sight. Observing these playful creatures in their natural habitat is a truly mesmerizing experience.  

 You will witness their social interactions, from grooming one another to playful chasing and somersaults. Their distinctive golden coats, contrasting with the lush greenery, create a visual spectacle that is sure to leave a lasting impression. The tracking experience typically lasts around one hour, although the duration can vary depending on the monkeys' movement patterns and behavior. Gorilla tracking is an extraordinary and life-changing adventure that allows you to come face to face with one of the world's most iconic and endangered species: the mountain gorillas. This captivating experience takes place in the dense forests of Volcanoes National Park, home to several habituated gorilla families. Once the gorilla family is located, you approach them with utmost respect and caution, following the guidance of your guides.  After you will have lunch and visit Iby’Iwacu cultural center & the gorilla guardian village to immense in the traditional Rwanda culture by exploring the ancient traditional marriage practices; Ibyiwacu is home and heritage for lifestyles, activities, artifacts and ways of living of local people. Get to understand the culture of the Rwandans through their daily life and knowledge of the environment, poetry, folklores, dancing, singing, pottery and the theoretical hunt gathering skills. Lake Kivu is Rwanda’s most attractive of lake ports, nestled in a series of interwoven and undulating hills and offering visitors spectacular views of the lake, its islands and the stunning surrounding countryside. As you arrive in Kibuye, you will be greeted by the serene and picturesque setting of Lake Kivu. The town itself is nestled along the lake's shores, offering stunning views of the shimmering waters and the surrounding hills. Boat cruise on Lake Kivu to explore Napoleon Island with thousands of Angola fruit bats, hiking the hat of Napoleon for panoramic views of Congo - DRC; Monkey Island with vervet monkeys, the swimming cows and peace island for short nature walks. Boat ride is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the scenic, mountainous backdrop and tranquility of the water. The clear, pristine lake has an irregular shoreline, dotted with islands. After a boat trip, you will have lunch in a relaxed restaurant. After a peaceful and scenic retreat. You will proceed to Nyungwe for dinner and overnight preparing for the upcoming days of exploration.

One of the oldest rainforests in Africa, Nyungwe National Park is a pristine rainforest in southwestern Rwanda, is home to a thriving population of chimpanzees, one of the most famous great apes of Africa. These highly intelligent and social primates are our closest relatives, sharing 98-99% of our DNA. The park offers guided chimpanzee tracking experiences, allowing you to observe their complex behaviors, from grooming to hunting and playful interactions. Accompanied by knowledgeable guides, you venture deep into the dense vegetation, listening for the sounds of chimps and watching for signs of their presence. You have the opportunity to explore the tea fields, learn about the different tea varieties, and witness the delicate process of tea picking and processing. This day, you will set out to explore Nyungwe's natural wonders. After your morning cup of favorite Rwandan coffee or tea, you will have your packed lunch and step out to discover more in Nyungwe. Your first stop is a magnificent waterfall hidden within the depths of the rainforest. As you hike along the designated trails, the sound of rushing water grows louder, and soon you come face to face with the breathtaking cascade. The sheer power and beauty of the Kamiranzovu waterfall create a mesmerizing sight, and you cannot resist the temptation to dip your toes in the refreshing pools beneath, immersing yourself in the natural serenity of the surroundings. Enjoy your picnic lunch then proceed with your exploration. 

 Continuing your Nyungwe adventure with a thrilling canopy walk suspended high above the forest floor. Walking along suspended bridges and walkways, you find yourself immersed in the awe-inspiring beauty of the forest canopy. In this elevated position, you can soak in panoramic views of the dense vegetation, spot a variety of bird species flitting among the treetops, and perhaps catch a glimpse of playful monkeys leaping through the branches.
