This morning we depart Inverness and drive along the banks of one of most famous bodies of water in the world, Loch Ness, where you might even spot its most famous resident “Nessie”. We then continue to Fort William, passing Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain. Our next stop is one of the most breathtaking in Scotland, the scenic Glencoe. Stopping to admire its iconic landscapes, its not all about beauty however, as you will learn about its tragic history, the massacre of Glencoe.
Your final stop will be Stirling Castle, once of Scotland's most important and striking landmarks. Here you'll learn how this castle played a crucial role in the Wars of Independence and the reign of the Stuart family. We will then have a quick stop at the Kelpies before heading to our accommodations for the evening, close to Edinburgh Airport
