We had a great time! The guides, the priests and our co-travelers were an amazing group of people. The accommodations were good and comfortable. It was a very spiritual experience. Thank you to Cody and Fr.Morgan and Fr. Hale.

We had a wonderful, spiritual trip.  Everyone was pleasant and got along well with each other. Fr. Donovan was outstanding and provided spiritual guidance throughout the pilgrimage. Our guide, David, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and provided many pieces of information, not only on the specific sites we visited, but also many other tidbits of information and interesting facts about France. Vincent, our bus driver, was also very good and got us to all our destinations safely and on time. Overall, we had an excellent experience. Thank you for this opportunity!!

12-Day Pilgrimage to the Shrines of France w/ Fr. Donovan O. de M.

It was a deeply spiritual journey, with a great immersion in Italian culture. The food was exquisite, and the churches were beautiful. The schedule was well organized and trips were well paced. It was a wonderful experience!

I found this pilgrimage so rewarding. It was truly centered on spiritual things and not just tourist sites.  It was truly inspiring. The accommodations were wonderful too. Thank you so much.

In the initial planning, before deciding a departure date, what major event is going on that may have roads closed, etc. (paraolympics) that may impact trip itinerary. David, John and. Father did a excellent job 👍

As a priest, this was one of the best pilgrimages I have been on. The guides were excellent and everyone was very happy with almost everything, bar one restaurant, which doesn't count. Also the focus on the spiritual was evident from the beginning.

The hotels were very nice and the food was excellent.

One suggestion would be to stay overnight in Lisieux, as the journey there and back from Paris (approximately 6 hrs with stops) was a lot for one day.

I will definitely be using St. Charles Pilgrimages again. Thanks to Cody and staff.

Great trip. Wonderful Masses. Loved all the Holy sites, churches and the lives of the saints. Highly recommend. 

Our trip was a great experience. We visited so many places, had some wonderful meals included. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would certainly travel with this organization again. 

We had a beautiful, holy experience on this pilgrimage.  There was a perfect balance of days where we saw and did a lot mixed with days that were more relaxed with free time and rest.  Cody had great knowledge of all of the places we visited, and I learned so much about the cities we were in and the churches we visited as well as the Saints who were entombed there.  We had wonderful meals, very comfortable accommodations and a truly prayful experience.  Fr. Morgan and Fr. Hale are perfect priests to lead pilgrimages because they are both great spiritual leaders and lots of fun to be around.  We will definitely go again on another St. Charles Catholic Pilgrimage!  Highly recommend!

The trip provided wonderful opportunities for spiritual growth as well as opportunities to get to know others from the parish. Schedule and accommodations were fine. Lourdes was definitely the highlight. I could have spent one more day there.

Our 12-day traditional Catholic tour of France with St. Charles Pilgrimages was an incredible experience! Now that we’re home, it’s hard to believe we saw and did so much! This was a very ambitious tour — 52 pilgrims and numerous locations all across France — and the amount of planning that went into it was intense. Everything came off without a hitch! From our first meeting through to drop off at the airport to go home, John Sonnen (who joined us on the pilgrimage) and, of course, Cody, Angela, were fantastic partners. They worked with our priest, who is from France, to select destinations for the pilgrimage; they provided us images, language and channels to help us promote the opportunity to our parish and others; they helped find locations throughout France where we could hold the traditional Latin Mass each day; they hosted webinars to make sure everyone was up to speed on the details; and they were always very patient with pilgrims’ many, many questions. Their selection of David, our highly knowledgeable local guide, and Enrique, our delightful bus driver, ensured we made the absolute most of our 12-day adventure. If you’re looking for a truly spiritually edifying pilgrimage experience that’s also A LOT of fun, we cannot recommend St. Charles Pilgrimages highly enough!

12-Day Traditional Catholic Pilgrimage to France w/ Canon Benoît Jayr

I would rate this trip as a 5 star. It was absolutely beautiful and amazing. Our leaders, John, David and Enrique kept us on schedule, well informed, safe and spiritually enriched. Canon Jayr and Abbe George were a blessing and added wonderful insight into the shrines visited. No other group could have taken us to such Holy places. It was truly a trip of a lifetime for me, one I will hold dear for the rest of my days.  Thank you

This was an amazing experience! The whole trip was such an immense blessing and filled with so many graces. Not to mention good times enjoying the sights, sounds, and flavors of France! This was my first travel with a tour.  I would do a St. Charles Pilgrimage again.  Thanks be to God.  Thanks to Canon Jayr and his offering of daily Mass, confession opportunity, special tour arrangements, presence during activities, knowledge and spiritual guidance.  Escort John Sonnen and local French guide David Chretien's local and historical commentaries made the experience of bus travel from Paris to Toulouse very meaningful.  John and David made good suggestions and were always available to help and answer questions.  I felt safe and secure.  Pilgrimage was busy but balanced allowing adequate breaks, prayer and rest, with opportunities to visit sites both known and new.  The bus driver was skilled.  Fellow pilgrims were a pleasure to be with and I hope to continue these friendships.  The food was fantastic and hotels were clean, quiet and comfortable.  Thanks to all, and of course, the French people whose refined politeness and patience were much appreciated.  May God continue to bless us all.

Our leaders John and David were fabulous.  Very well versed in Catholic history and helpful with any little or big problems.  Our driver Enrique,  what a character and he safely guided us across France making it look easy.  The schedule for the pilgrimage was busy but we got to see as much as we could in a short 9 days.  Daily mass was fabulous and food and lodging was exceptional!

I am grateful to St Charles Pilgrimages for offering me travel to so many holy sites accompanied by Traditional Catholic chaplain and guide, while at all times providing an atmosphere of

I had a fantastic and blessed time.  The days were well planned out, but still provided us with plenty of free time to explore on our own.  The people I met in our group were wonderful.  The hotel accommodations were very comfortable.  The included wine tasting with dinner was fabulous!  Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

9-Day Pilgrimage to Rome & Assisi w/ Fr. Nick Ward

I truly enjoyed the 9-Day Pilgrimage to Rome & Assisi.  Our guide was great and I appreciated the ongoing contact and information received.  The trip itself was very inspiring and interesting.  I feel enlightened by all the knowledge of Jesus and the saints, not to mention the beauty of all we saw, the delicious food and meeting new friends.  My favorite part of the trip was staying in Assisi with it's beauty, cleanliness, and accommodations and, as in Rome, so much to see and learn.

The accommodations in Rome were okay; however, somewhat cramped for two people in the room with only one bathroom.  Luckily we didn't spend much time in the room as we kept so busy,

This trip was a WOW!  We had a fantastic time.  Experiencing a culture of what was an old world that now has transformed into a modern-day lifestyle is a once in a lifetime experience.  While the trip had a planned schedule, there was plenty of time to explore unknown areas or just sit in one of the many churches and reflect.  The artwork and statues were something you have to see.  Words/pictures do not come close to actually experiencing the real thing.  Cody was an awesome guide.  He was very knowledgeable about the area.  He was also very flexible and safety conscious if you wanted to vary from the planned schedule. 



I had an awesome time. The pilgrimage was everything I expected and more.  Our guide, Cody, was extremely  knowledgeable and planned our time well.  It was a rewarding and enjoyable experience.  

The trip was wonderful.  Loved the people on the trip, the places we went, the food we ate and the accommodations.  The cherry on top was the spiritual aspect of the trip.

12-Day Pilgrimage to Greece & Turkey w/ Fr. Tom Wray & Fr. Ethan Moore

The organizational and managerial skills of Cody and Angela Egner are very effective and were displayed in full force during this pilgrimage to Greece and Turkey. All facets of the trip were perfectly coordinated and executed in a timely manner, and there was no wasted time spent standing around wondering when the bus would eventually depart or if the cruise ship was going to operate as scheduled to the various ports of call.

However, the religious aspects of the pilgrimage were not wholly satisfactory for either myself or my wife of 47 years, and this was very disappointing for us . With high hopes for a religious enrichment of our Christian beliefs, we were left with a less than satisfactory experience. My wife, who is a devout practicing protestant, was offended,  as was I, with the superior attitude displayed and verbalized that held non-Catholics to a not-ready-for-prime-time status. My wife was not the only non-Catholic in the group that felt this way during the pilgrimage, and it curtailed her participation in the religious aspects during the trip. It's not to say that she didn't feel welcome to be part of the group, but she definitely felt that her protestant background relegated her to second tier status as a Christian and therefore not likely a candidate for salvation. 

I feel personally that if I wanted to participate in a future pilgrimage I would be travelling solo, as my wife understandably would reject any suggestion that she accompany me. 

As Maya Angelou once said, you might not remember what others said or did, but you will remember how they made you feel.

The experience was amazing.  The sights were unbelievable and the food was fantastic and Cody made the experience so enjoyable with his presence and his kind heart.

We had a great time. Wonderful meeting new people, great food and amazing accommodations. 

This was a great trip with wonderful people.  Our guide John and Father Radloff were so knowledgeable and helpful.  I had been to Rome before but wanted the experience of a pilgrimage.  This trip exceeded my expectations!  We saw things I didn't even know existed.  I would recommend this trip to anyone who is ready to go on a pilgrimage.

Prayerful and positive experience but be ready to be on the go!  Lots to see and do in 12 days!  Thank you for a memorable experience and meeting the nicest fellow pilgrims who I now call friends.  I also can't forget our favorite local guide, Nikos!

Wendy and I had a truly great experience on the Rome/Assisi pilgrimage with Fr Radloff. Also, our guide John Sonnen did an excellent job of touring us around all the historic sites.

There were many great moments during our trip, but having Pope Francis so close to us in St Peter's Square was a highlight. The many beautiful churches and the catacombs were also awe inspiring. The two days spent in Assisi were also very interesting and relaxing.

This pilgrimage was well planned.  I had not been on a pilgrimage for many years and this one was so much better than I remembered.  Cody Egner and his team had every detail covered, from flights, hotels, dinners, daily mass, cruise, etc.  It’s obvious they want to make their pilgrimages memorable and grace filled.  Nikos, the guide for the land portion, was exceptional.  The guides for the shore excursions during the three day cruise were equally good.  Due to the personal care the St Charles team provides for each pilgrim, I’m looking forward to many more pilgrimages with them!

What an experience!  John was a fantastic guide who was not only informative but presented everything in the context of our Faith!  The pace was perfect allowing for us to have a full schedule with adequate time for relaxation and personal exploring and prayer.  This is such a great company to work with and I hope to do so again soon.

This experience opened my mind, my heart and expanded my faith. Walking in the footsteps of St. Paul brought the Bible to life and the well planned, organized tour allowed us to fully experience a part of the world and our Catholic history in a way I never thought possible. 10-Day Pilgrimage to Italy w/ Fr. David Violi

Absolutely wonderful.  Everything was taken care of.  All we had to do was show up.  The location of accommodations was close to the sites we were going to see.  Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sites we were visiting.  Only downside was we needed more time, but then you can only fit so much in in 10 days.  Would do a trip like this again in a heartbeat. 

Cody and St. Charles Pilgrimage did a wonderful job organizing our ten-day pilgrimage of Eucharistic Miracles throughout Italy. Though we traveled in the "off season," they did a first-rate job ensuring that we had many opportunities for prayer at the various holy sites while also being able to adjust to our needs on-the-go.

Great trip! The weather was very tolerable (50s and 60s) most of the time and being out of the normal busy season lead to less people and a more intimate experience. Our guide was very accommodating and professional and offered guidance and recommendations as needed. Italy is a wonderful place and has a wealth of cultural and religious history. I would recommend visiting Italy to anyone and hope to be back soon!
