Had a great time. Met new people and had fun exploring a new place.

Attending the Paris Olympics was a lifelong dream and an incredible opportunity. When the chance arose, I couldn't pass it up. However, I regret to say that the experience fell short of my expectations. Let me begin with the positives. I'm grateful to Motherland Connect for introducing me to wonderful people who became lifelong friends—truly the trip's greatest gift. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. Although marketed as an Olympic trip featuring the Opening Ceremony, we never attended this event. The tour hosts avoided accountability until confronted. Given that final payments were due in April, I expected tickets to be secured well before our arrival in Paris. Of the numerous planned excursions, only about four materialized, most paid for on-site rather than in advance. The lack of research for a global event like the Olympics was both disappointing and misleading. Constantly inquiring about pre-paid scheduled activities was frustrating. The trip cost $3,500, excluding flights. The few excursions we did totaled less than $200. I covered all my meals outside of breakfast , we only had access to a sprinter van three times, and the provided metro cards needed daily refills—sometimes at my expense—despite transportation being included in the package. It seems I primarily paid for lodging, with the allocation of the remaining funds unclear. The itinerary was only distributed as we boarded the plane to Paris, highlighting the overall disorganization. While the people I met made the trip worthwhile, I must caution others to book at their own risk."
