My mom and I recently had the pleasure of attending the Harmony Yoga Retreat at The Docelunas Resort in Jaco, Costa Rica, and the experience truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing fruit beverage, making us feel instantly at home. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, local, and nourishing meals that left us feeling completely rejuvenated. You could tell that a lot of care went into selecting the ingredients, and the staff at the restaurant were incredibly kind and attentive. The yoga center provided the perfect space for practice, meditation, and the sound healing and cacao ceremonies we participated in. Our yoga teachers, Barbara and Shivani, were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also warm and welcoming. Each session was thoughtfully crafted to enhance mindfulness, strength, and flexibility while fostering a strong sense of community and connection. The variety of activities offered was wonderful, from early morning meditation to horseback riding and hiking to a beautiful waterfall. A highlight of our stay was when the owner, Chris, took us on a tour of the town of Jaco to explore the vibrant murals painted by local artists. He also guided us on a tour of the resort, showcasing the beautiful fruits, nuts, and vegetables grown on-site, many of which are used in the food and beverages served to guests. The entire experience was transformative, leaving us feeling more centered, relaxed, and connected to nature. If you're looking for a place to recharge, deepen your yoga practice, and immerse yourself in a peaceful, natural setting, this Costa Rican retreat is the perfect destination. We highly recommend it!

What a wonderful experience. Doce Lunas in Jaco Costa Rica was the perfect choice for a lovely yoga retreat. The owner Chris was so accomodating and the staff was great. Shivani and Barbara provided so many options for different types of yoga. I learned quite a bit about the more spiritual aspects of a yoga practice. Very nice group of people on the trip. Tricia P
