Once part of the Fertile Crescent, Tunisia is an old country, famous for Tunis and Carthage (a city that hits home for us Lebanese since it was founded by Phoenicians and later became a rival of Rome-before it was defeated). Tunis is also famous for its historical sites and its desert. It is at the crossroad between the Arab and Berber, between the east and the west. It is a gorgeous country with much to offer - amongst which many less traveled experiences.
Some pictures of the country are famous: the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean, the famous facades and colored doors... but beyond those images there is so much to discover.
Between classic and lesser traveled, we will visit its famous sites along with the paces not many people go to while enjoying the foods, the locals, the artisans.
We will spend a few days in the Sahara, in some of its Oasis and famous towns. Ironically, though considered touristic, these areas are still under the radar and many of its gems are still considered "off the beaten track".
As our partners in Tunisia like to say: "Great memories never come from comfort zones"... And for a few days, we will enjoy the best of the Sahara, sometimes indeed stepping outside of our comfort zone.
Please note that we can cater to private requests as long as reservations are done 50 days in advance. Please understand prices may vary depending on dates, availabilities and number of people.

With a local guide, delve into the savor and tastes of Tunis during the Food Tour scheduled.
From savory to juice and then dessert, this experience takes you into the heart of Tunis’ culture and street cuisine. There is so much food teaches us: ingredients, blends, but also influences, history and exchanges. A food tour is a trip through the tongue, the nose, the hands, and the ears.
Optional activities you can choose from depending on your interest and talent.
The day will end with a welcome traditional dinner.
