If preferred, you have the option to travel  to Logatec by train, ensuring a seamless transition to your starting point.

As you begin pedaling through the serene fields and enchanting forests, a sense of tranquility will wash over you. The path will lead you to the magnificent Rakov Škocjan gorge, a true gem of Slovenia and the oldest landscape park in the country. Continuing onwards, your cycling stage will culminate in the charming town of Postojna. Prepare to be captivated by the rich history and breathtaking landscapes as you embark on cycling the route from Postojna to Kodreti  through enchanting Vipava Valley. This day begins with a visit to the awe-inspiring Predjama Castle, a true marvel nestled below a towering 123-meter cliff. Immerse yourself in the tales of the legendary robber knight Erasmus, who cunningly utilized the hidden caves beneath the castle to outwit his enemies and sustain his stronghold. The castle's unique position and intriguing history make it a must-see attraction that will transport you back in time. As you continue cycling, a spectacular descent awaits, leading you into the picturesque wine-growing region of the Vipava Valley. Enjoy the vivid transformation in climate as you leave behind the rugged landscapes and enter a Mediterranean oasis. The Vipava Valley boasts a unique microclimate, nurturing vineyards and orchards that produce some of Slovenia's finest wines and fruits.

As the day draws to a close, you'll find yourself in the warm embrace of a charming family guesthouse. Here, you'll have the opportunity to indulge in a delectable dinner featuring typical local cuisine, paired with exquisite wines from the region.

As you continue your adventure through the mesmerizing karst, you'll be greeted by a tapestry of vineyards and charming villages. Take a moment to pause and indulge in the delights of the local wine cellars, where you can savor the exquisite flavors of first-class Teran wines and sample the renowned Karst ham. Next, prepare to be mesmerized by the legendary Lipica Stud Farm, a place that holds the key to the beauty and grace of the world-famous white Lipizzaner horses. In the enchanting valley of Val Rosandra, prepare to be mesmerized as the first glimpse of the Gulf of Trieste unfolds before your eyes. As you approach the final leg of your journey, you'll find yourself cycling along the coastal road, which boasts a brand new cycling path. Immerse yourself in the stunning vistas of Slovenia's charming coast, where the azure waters of the Adriatic Sea meet the rugged shoreline. The grand finale of your cycling tour awaits in the exquisite little Venetian town of Piran.
