Here's the ultimate bucket list trip... Skiing in Alaska, watching the start of the Iditarod, and maybe even viewing the northern lights! The average temperature for February/March is 27-35°F, so it isn't any colder than other destinations. Our group will spend one day in Anchorage, where we will get to enjoy the festival leading up to the ceremonial start of the Iditarod. We'll get to see a sled dog parade, the running of the reindeer, meet the mushers, and more! Then it's a short bus ride to beautiful Alyeska Resort, where we will enjoy good skiing and good company for 6 days. We might even get to see the aurora borealis (northern lights),! spa treatments, snowshoeing and more, in addition to world-class skiing. This will be the trip of a lifetime - don't miss it!
