Today we continue our tour of Athens' ancient sites by visiting Panathenaic Stadium -the site of the first modern Olympics and the only marble stadium in the world.

Take in some wonderful panoramic city views from Lycabettus Hill, and visit the Parliament buildings to see the changing of the Royal Guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Visit the open-air market in Plaka in the afternoon, where we can shop, take in the sites and grab a bite to eat.

Guests will have some downtime in the afternoon, where they are encouraged to explore the city before hopping on our bus and traveling down the coast to Sounion where we will enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner and views of the Temple of Poseidon

Today we road trip up into the mountains to consult with the oracle on Mount Parnassus, at the temple of Apollo of Delphi!

Our private guide takes us back in time as we make the 3-hour drive, by telling stories of Athens both mythological and historical. 

We stop for lunch (included) after visiting the temple and museum before heading to our hotel in Delphi. 

Guests will have the evening free to relax at the hotel, go out on the town or find a bite to eat!

Today we will wake early to catch our flights home from this beautiful land, our heads full of new knowledge, and our hearts full of new friends and experiences.

Thank you for considering this trip! I created this trip the very first time I visited Greece! (pictured is me taking photos from the Acropolis!) I was having so much fun wandering through the ancient sites and learning about the history and mythology that is so intertwined with the culture of Greece. I started sharing everything I was learning with my friends on Instagram and soon I had people messaging me every day asking for more Greek Mythology stories! 

As someone who grew up watching Disney's Hercules and reading books like the Percy Jackson series, I have always been a fan of the beautiful stories of the ancient Greeks. The opportunity to visit the actual sites where these stories occurred is one that I will never take for granted and one I am so excited to offer you! 

This trip is for anyone who has ever had their heart captured by Aphrodite, laughed at the ridiculous affairs of Zeus, or held your breath in anticipation of a Hero on a quest! I cannot wait to show you the Greece I fell in love with- from the bustling markets to the peace of the ancient temples to the salty shores of the islands.
