Doing my 200 YTT with Jonah was way more than I could have ever anticipated. I went into the experience hoping to just deepen my personal yoga practice, yet I also came out of it with the drive to completely switch careers. (And with the support of 30+ new friends!)  What sets Jonah apart is that while yoga can often be a serious study, he still makes it fun and engaging while not taking himself so seriously. He is super easy to talk to, learn from, and is open to suggestions or critique. You can easily respect him as a teacher but he treats you like an equal. This says a lot about the kind of person he just is. One thing I took from him is how to also laugh at myself as a yoga teacher and not let ego get in the way. And even though I am one of the newer teachers in the studios I work in, the front-to-back style that he teaches is like NO other. Because of my training with Jonah I was able to gain unique skills and confidence to still immediately stand out in many yoga spaces. I have been able to seamlessly adapt this framework to create classes that are more restorative or even in 100+ degrees. Jonah continues to support my endeavors from afar, and has proven he really cares about his students long after the trainings. I can't wait to take my 300 hour with him sooner than later!

Become A Yogi Teacher Training was an absolute DREAM!!! It’s truly hard to put those 18 days into words. The experience was transformational. Jonah, Renae, Heidi, and Marco are very knowledgeable individuals who provided an incredible amount of insight in their areas of expertise. I couldn’t imagine the trip without them. We learned and practiced a lot which allowed us to walk away from the experience feeling confident about sharing yoga with the world. All the students, now teachers, who attended were absolutely amazing!! Some life long friendships were definitely made. <3 I highly recommend signing up and investing in yourself. It’s your time!!

We had a great time together, it was an honor to be part of becomeayogi with Jonah, Renae and Heidi. I learned a lot, I improved the way a connect with my breath, I gained confidence and knowledge on how to teach and met a lot of wonderful people. The food was incredible and the place was magical.
