Michael Amante is a celebrated American singer and stage actor whose voice and presence has captivated audiences and critics around the world. He sings a repertoire that ranges from Broadway, American Standards, Gospel and Jazz to the soaring notes of High Opera. He has been called “The People’s Tenor,” been billed as “the Prince of High C’s,” and even “the Next Mario Lanza” by singing legend Tony Bennett. He has received praise from singing icon Luciano Pavarotti for his natural tenor range. In 2001 his debut recording of classical songs and arias placed him as the #1 artist in Billboard Magazine’s classical charts in 2002. His PBS Television Special was nominated for a regional Emmy Award.  Michael has released more than 7 record breaking CD’s and his credits include songs heard in national advertisements and made for television movies. He continues to perform for SOLD OUT audiences including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, New York City’s Town Hall, and numerous Las Vegas and Atlantic City casinos.
