BENJAMIN MANTON • Facilitator • Ritual Artist • Psychedelic Explorer
Benjamin Manton is a leader and creator of transformative experiences that merge ritual, art, and psychedelics to inspire personal growth and collective connection. Drawing on a deep understanding for playful approaches to spirituality, Benjamin crafts immersive spaces where participants can explore the depths of their inner world while embracing the joy of the present moment.
As a passionate advocate for the healing potential of psychedelics, Benjamin has spent years guiding individuals through intentional ceremonies rooted in safety, creativity, and connection. His work is informed by a rich background in performance art, ritual magic, and community-building, offering a unique lens through which participants can access new perspectives and unlock their creative potential.
At the heart of Ben’s facilitation is a commitment to authenticity, curiosity, and humor. He believes that transformation doesn’t have to be overly serious; by weaving silliness into the sacred, they invite participants to release limiting beliefs and rediscover the magic of life.
When not leading retreats, Benjamin nurtures a vibrant community through his North Beach galleries and spiritual spaces, celebrating the intersection of art and enlightenment. Their work is inspired by the countercultural lineage of visionaries like Alan Watts and Timothy Leary, and they are dedicated to perpetuating the bohemian spirit of connection and creativity.
GWEN PELFINI, LMHC, LPCC, NCC, PATP • Multi-licensed integrative psychotherapist, certified psychedelic-assisted therapy provider, sound healer & founder of Rooted Ethos
Gwen has been learning and working in the mental health field for twenty years. She was exposed to the world of neurodivergence and innovative healing approaches at a young age through her affiliation with Easter Seals - Bay Area, a non-profit organization that provides support and resources for people and families affected by mental and physical disabilities. Their philosophies and efforts toward early intervention informed a significant curiosity in Gwen’s later years in schooling and training, including pursuing integrative approaches to better understanding Autism, and other creative healing modalities.
Growing up amongst the diversity within the San Francisco Bay Area and gathering influential experiences and training from UCLA, NYU and various mental health settings and institutes along the way, Gwen has honed her expertise in the specialty of Integrated Health. She even spearheaded the counseling internship program at Bronx Health (previously Bronx Lebanon Hospital), as part of her practicum while earning her masters’ in Counseling for Mental Health & Wellness, the program of which she is now faculty at NYU. Gwen initially continued her studies, pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Alliant University in San Francisco and realized her true calling is in the work, itself; she returned to New York, immersed herself in further clinical application and training - including somatic therapeutic approaches, EMDR, and relational therapy - and found her place in the specialty of mental health x psychedelics, completing certification with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. She now serves as the Bay Area Ambassador for Journey Clinical, cultivating education and empowerment for the mental health community of the psychedelics community.
Gwen is an integrative, multi-licensed psychotherapist, adjunct professor, certified psychedelic-assisted therapy provider and advocate, founder of Rooted Ethos, who is passionate about curating spaces for access, conversation and connection in the community. Through her warm and direct approach, she has made it her life’s work to help people connect with their own Inner Healing Intelligence and live a meaningful life, a Rooted Ethos.
JULIETTE PRUNEAU • Facilitator • Retreat Chef
As a retreat facilitator, I take a mission-driven approach to nourishing both body and soul. I've helped prepare meals for yoga retreats, gaining valuable experience in creating dishes that promote vitality and well-being. In France, my work as an educator centered on improving access to organic food for underprivileged communities.
After discovering that my family lineage includes practitioners of magnetism and fire healing, I became interested in energy work, which led me to explore this field. Since 2020, I have been a trained Reiki practitioner in the traditional Usui method, studying under experienced women masters in both France and the United States.
As a lightworker, I provide a calming and healing presence, supporting retreat participants in finding balance and alignment on their personal journeys. I also enjoy discussing magical topics, and debating political science.
