Rockland's Bird Sanctuary is a 40 minute drive outside of the bustling tourism mecca of Montego Bay. The quaint cottage property is nestled in forested hills and has been in operation since 1962 and is Jamaica's best-known birdwatching site.
You can expect up-close and intimate interactions with hummingbirds, white-winged doves, Jamaican wood-pecker, Oriole just to name a few of the various species of bird's to be found protected in this sanctuary.
Finish with a relaxing bamboo raft ride at Lethe Great River rafting. Climb aboard a 30-foot bamboo raft piloted by a certified expert raft captain. Enjoy the scenery and learn about the surrounding eco-systems while meandering through lush tropical vegetation. You can even opt for invigorating natural limestone massage along the way.
