A tour of flower gardens, coffee plantations and traditional farms in the western Colombian mountain range, where the exuberance of nature shines among the fog of the montane forest and the smell of freshly ground coffee.
This slow travel experience of immersion in Colombian rural life is the perfect opportunity to get out of the routine and take a step back from the effort to enjoy every step, every bite and every sip of an artisanal coffee in the Valle del Cauca mountains of Colombia.
Visit the best places for birdwatching in Valle del Cauca: km 18 on the "Vía al Mar" (Road to the sea) and Bitaco, where you can see more tahn 200 species of birds. Learn about the cultivation of anthuriums and orchids, visit a heliconia collection garden and end your tour on a traditional Colombian rural farm among orchid and bougainvillea gardens, while you enjoy a small country coffee watching the birds that stop by to say hello.
