Dive Into Dominica

Maybe you feel like you are in search or in need of something more fulfilling. Perhaps you are at a pivotable point in life. Maybe you forgot what  it feels like to be alive, or perhaps you are in need of healing.  Whether it's to feel or heal, this journey with Thrive Tribe Wellness will ignite your inner spark and inner child while feeling supported, connected, and stronger in your mind and body. Thrive Tribe's aim is to expand our capacity to move in life with awareness, intentionality, and balance.

Our active retreat offers plenty of time to feel connected, challenged, and part of something larger than the world we live.  Yet all our invitations to daily offering are totally up to you to partake in.  They were curated to ignite a positive evolution in your life creating balance in your mind, body, and spirit offering a sense of refreshment, play, replenishment, and inspiration.

The pulse of the jungle and activities are designed to possibly invite you out of your stagnate comfort zone, where change does not exist, where we keep making the same choices, and we keep experiencing life in the same manner.  How you show up for yourself in the face of challenge or a new experience is a choice not just applied to what happens while on our retreat but also applies while you return home. We will start at the very center core of your very own heart and mind to face these fears and thought patterns which keep us in the small area of the comfort zone. We will learn how to dismantle internal and external circumstances to break through these fears, and show up on the other side stronger, evolved, and learning to live freely. What you don't change you choose.  It is with big love, big courage, we begin to move mountains.

Some of the excursion options to submerse in this tour takes you

What if you could let this moment be a defining one? A moment where you can begin to receive the full extent of the potency of your light and your true gifts?

Dominica has been nicknamed the "Nature Isle of the Caribbean” and is also

known as the hidden jewel of the Caribbean

The island boasts a variety of natural attractions including 365 rivers and streams, hidden waterfalls, freshwater lakes, hot sulfur springs, a boiling lake (considered the world’s second largest), lush mountainous tropical forest, and it is the home of

many rare plants, animals, and bird species.

The island of Dominica differentiates itself in many ways from other Caribbean islands; instead of mass tourism, noisy bars and night clubs, visitors will find tranquility, plenty nature and very friendly people. A dream for eco-lover’s, adventurer, hikers, divers, snorkelers and bird watchers.

Jungle Bay is a unique oasis for nature lovers, individuals, active and adventurous travelers, as well as for those who seek tranquility, relaxation, yoga and wellbeing. A place to wind down, to rejuvenate your mind and body in a natural environment.

Jungle Bay is located on the south west coast, only 20 minutes from the capital of Roseau, 392 feet above the Caribbean Sea, the charming fishing village Soufriere and the marine sanctuary of Soufriere & Scotts Head.

The 19-acre property is one of the first of its kind “edible resorts” with over 100 varieties of tropical fruits growing right outside your door! The accommodations are in 60 island-inspired villas (suites & rooms), nestled within tropical trees, banana plants

and flowers. The hotel combines barefoot luxury with ecologically & socially responsibility and offers an outstanding hospitality service.

Everything will be organized for you: transfers (from/to port/airport), guided hikes, excursions & activities, spa treatments & massages, yoga, delicious and fresh island meals. The Adventure Wellness Package includes all of these benefits plus luxury accommodations in a natural environment.

Dominica’s underwater terrain is as diverse as the island’s terrestrial areas with a wide variety of marine life and dramatic underwater features including sunken volcanoes and deep drop-offs (500 meters).

Jungle Bay is located 5 minutes from the dive shop “Nature Island Dive” in Soufriere. Right offshore lays the Soufriere Scotts

Head Marine Reserve. You can explore nearly 20 dive sites in the Soufriere Scotts Head Marine Reserve and some of

them – according to experienced divers – are among the top sites in the entire Caribbean! All of the dive sites are less than 15 boat minutes from the dive shop.

Snorkelers rave about Scott’s Head and the popular Champagne Beach; at which tiny, warm bubbles float up from the geothermal vents, resembling a glass of bubbly Champagne. Both snorkeling sites are within 10 minutes from Jungle Bay.

Dominica is also known as the Whale Watching capital of the Caribbean; more than a half-dozen types of whales and a dozen types of dolphins have been identified in Dominica’s waters.

Remember to bring comfortable hiking clothes as well as of shoes with good grip and that can get wet (river crossings).

It was wonderful! Beautiful scenery, absolutely delicious food, awesome people! Thank you!
By Joy B for Luxury Yoga Retreat. Thrive Tribe. Remain or Evolve. on Apr 16, 2024
I had a wonderful time at the Thrive Tribe retreat. It was truly a "luxury" experience in every way. The accommodations all went way beyond my expectations and I wouldn't want to change any part of the retreat. I met so many amazing individuals that I hope to stay connected with for a long time. I went into the retreat only knowing Leoni, and I left with so many new connections and friends. I believe that every part of the retreat was perfectly and carefully curated by Leoni and Crystal, and I felt as if it was effortless to go with the flow and enjoy every moment to the fullest because of the background work Leoni and Crystal put in to make the perfect experience. I am 21 years old, and although I have traveled a lot, I had never traveled "alone" with a group of individuals I did not know at first, yet I felt completely safe every second of this trip. I would recommend Thrive Tribe to anyone looking to relax and rewind while also creating life lasting relationships and positive life changes for themselves. I couldn't thank Leoni and Crystal enough for this life changing experience!
By Kendall S for Luxury Yoga Retreat. Thrive Tribe. Remain or Evolve. on Apr 07, 2024
Traveling with our “Tribe” was beyond words that we can express! We stayed in the Jungelo whith it’s amazing views of both the Jungle and the Pacific, what can I say but WOW! I can’t say enough about the planning and obvious behind the scenes work that Crystal and Leoni put in to make our experience truly amazing and magical. The food was beyond belief, neither of us are vegan, but it was simply delicious. The staff at Imiloa was gracious and tentative, all of our needs were met with nothing less than sincere pleasure. We truly loved the group we traveled with, the beauty that surrounded us, and the amazing growth that we experienced together! We anxiously look forward to our next adventure!
By Jamie C for Luxury Yoga Retreat. Thrive Tribe. Remain or Evolve. on Apr 07, 2024
The retreat was an absolutely incredible experience. The venue, staff and location in the jungle were like I’ve never experienced before. The wildlife and nature is something so special. And the FOOD…WOW!!! Crystal and Leoni of Thrive Tribe Wellness were absolutely wonderful leaders who planned and executed this experience and community/activities with care. They take the time to make sure you feel cared for and loved. Some of my most favorite offerings were the evening yoga classes, including the sound bath and various connective group activities, my first reiki session in the most insanely serene setting, and the meals together. I also really loved the Latin Pilates class, it ended up being so much fun to try something new and challenging. I would without a doubt recommend this retreat experience at Imiloa and with Thrive Tribe Wellness!!! I dream of going back and miss the coffee mornings and sloth sightings.
By Casey M for Luxury Yoga Retreat. Thrive Tribe. Remain or Evolve. on Apr 07, 2024
This trip was EXACTLY what I needed. Perfect time of year to chase sunshine. Imiloa was an incredible property, with an even more incredible team. And, the food was stunningly delicious & satisfying. My Jungaloo was perfection. I bathed or showered every evening by candlelight and slept with the screen doors open, waking up to natural sunlight and beautiful chirping. The yoga classes with Crystal & Leoni were challenging, but accessible for every level. I loved it when they silently & lovingly shifted me to an even more gratifying position. Crystal's evening sound bath outdoors was beautiful & unifying. The hike where we were saged, slathered in Costa Rican blue clay, then washed it off in a waterfall, will forever be an experience I return to when wanting to center myself - and smile. Reiki with Crystal breathing in the Pacific air, was transformational. Hot stone massage on my porch was physically & mentally deepening. My excursions to zip-lining & snorkeling were exciting & it was fun to explore nearby areas. The beach party night - drum circle, labyrinth walk, dancing, dinner - was another incredible excursion. My one-on-one coaching with Leoni, book discussions with Marianna, & chats with other guests, were such thought provoking conversations, I'm still ruminating on many of them. I'm running out of space, but could go on & on...This retreat was spectacular! Could not recommend more highly! Thanks, Crystal & Leoni!
