Throughout the trip we will have the opportunity to dine at a wide variety of extraordinary restaurants (from casual street food to fine dining). While the tour offers many unique scheduled experiences, its casual structure also provides daily opportunities for guests to adjust the plans to match their interests and desired speed and intensity.

WEATHER ~
Sucre winter is dry and sunny, with very mild days (78f average) and cold nights (42f average)
Uyuni is cooler and dry with cool days (54f average) and cold nights (27f average)
La Paz will be slightly warmer and a little more overcast, but still very little chance of rain. Daytime will be cool (57f average) and cold nights (29f average).
TRANSPORTATION ~ We use various modes of transportation in Bolivia, including airplanes, vans, taxis, and cable cars.
PHYSICAL EXERTION ~ Moderately High Exertion (4 of 5) – Due to the altitude we consider this tour more physically challenging than most of our tours. In order to fully appreciate this tour, tourists should be physically agile and have the ability to walk at a moderate pace for 15 minutes at a time at high altitude. If you have breathing, heart, or mobility concerns, please consult with both your doctor and us before you book this tour. As with most of our tours, participants can self-modify the itinerary to meet their ability.

• Historic walking tour
• Museum visits including Museo Nacional de Etnografía y Folklore, Charcas Coonia and Universidad Andina Simon
• Tarabuco Sunday Market (one Bolivia's largest indigenous markets)
• Demonstration and tour at Museo Maya
• Traditional Bolivian Cooking Class
• Cultural sites including La Glorieta Castle & La Catedral
