La Paz is the administrative capital of Bolivia. Altitude of the city ranges from about 4058 meters (13,313 feet) above sea level in El Alto (where the airport is located) to 3100 meters (10,170 feet) in the lower residential area. It is the highest national capital in the world - enjoy your free day with the beautiful city views!

After breakfast, we'll have an activity day ahead including a visit to La Anaconda, an interesting canyon with views, and landscapes of the Andes. Valley of rocks - one of our favourites, an incredibly large valley of volcanic rocks that we will find all along the way. After lunch in San Cristobal - a mining town that is the most important town for the economy of modern Bolivia, we'll check out Catal or mysterious lagoon - an oasis in the middle of the desert where we will find hundreds of llamas, birds and a lagoon in the middle of rocks. We'll then arrive at the Town of Mallku Villamar to rest and have dinner in a basic lodging with private bathrooms and hot showers. A strategic town that will help us acclimatize to enter deeper into the deserts.

This is the most important day of the adventure! We start early with our breakfast at the accommodation and prepare for the following destinations:

Qara Laguna - we divert our way to visit an impressive lagoon, full of flamingos, views of volcanoes and a landscape that will take your breath away. Laguna Colorada - The most important destination of the day, an impressive lagoon that seems to be taken from an oil painting. A mix of landscapes that unites: a lagoon of red colors, thousands of thousands of pink flamingos, llamas, vicuñas, volcanoes and views of the Andes that make this landscape one of the finalists for the top 10 natural wonders of the world. A visit to Geysers, and finally Polques - Hot Springs. We will have dinner and rest at altitude (4,400m). We will have oxygen, assistance from the team and everything necessary to combat altitude sickness.

We start the day with our breakfast at our accommodation then we start our adventure at Salvador Dalí - named after the surrealist artist, an impressive desert of yellow colors and rainbow mountains! 360-degree landscapes that will leave you in awe.

Laguna Verde/Blanca - very close to the border of Chile, we will visit both impressive lagoons with a landscape behind the emblematic Licancabur Volcano, without a doubt an essential destination.

Return to Uyuni - where you will have free time to dine at one of our highly recommended restaurants!

Bolivia's Salar de Uyuni is considered one of the most extreme and remarkable vistas in all of South America, if not Earth. Stretching more than 4,050 square miles of the Altiplano, it is the world’s largest salt flat, left behind by prehistoric lakes evaporated long ago. Here, a thick crust of salt extends to the horizon, covered by quilted, polygonal patterns of salt rising from the ground. We will enjoy a unique experience in the middle of the salt flats.

At the end of the day, we enjoy a magnificent sunset with reflections and head back to the hotel for rest and dinner.

Today we'll trek for approximately 1-hour to visit the most beautiful island of the Salar, Incachuasi, a complex full of giant cacti, petrified corals, and beautiful 360-degree views. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of the Salar, an intimate way to get to know this destination, just for you and away from the masses. We will have enough time to play with the camera, take fun photos with perspective and explore the salt crystals and salt eyes which are very interesting because they show us the natural process of salt. We will appreciate the sunset together with a toast, something magical, and from another planet.

We'll use this day to head back to the City of La Paz where you'll have the rest of the day to explore and unwind before your departure tomorrow.

Today we'll depart back to our home destinations from La Paz.
