My son had a fantastic trip to Busch Gardens! Very well organized. 
Thank you!

They had a great time but wish they had more time to ride more than 3 rides. 

My twins had a great time!  They loved Barbara (their tour guide), said she was amazing.  The only comment they had that was not positive was they felt like they did not have enough time at each museum.  So maybe less stops and more time at each next time?  It was a minor thing for them, they would 100% recommend the trip and would definitely go back given the chance!  Thank you for taking such good care of them!   

2024 DC Class Trip with Moultrie Middle School

Guide was not organized.  Missed several museums and monuments scheduled to view. Hotel rooms (2 needed to be changed due to broken air and shower). 

Registration was simple. My child was happy with travel and hotel. However, for this amount of money, the experience of DC was below average. The trip planning was poor. These students only had 45 minutes in a couple of the museums. I have another child who will be eligible for this school trip next year and I will not be paying this amount for such a limited educational experience. We are disappointed. 

All was great except for a few things. First our lead tour guide was impossible to work with. He constantly argued with both the lead teacher and other tour guide. He even cost us our visit to the Holocaust and Natural History Museum. He constantly would lead the group away with out checking to see if all people where ready. He said the same five fact multiple times a day and would have long pauses when explaining things to my students. He was very aggressive when he talked with both adults and students. I will be sending a longer email with more specifics. I feel like half our group (45 students) was robbed of their 8th grade DC experience, I know I was.

Honestly overall it was a stressful trip but the food and hotel were probably what made up for it. I felt those selections were great and not having to wait in some lines for museums HOWEVER- My son and I Felt rushed through most of the museums/ monuments.

Schoolers and being on and off the bus, behavior, you have to consider traffic/ time of year ((spring break DC busy)) head count gathering everyone up before moving to the next. When planning out the tours each day,  There were many times the tour directors got groups mixed up when walking. We loved Barbara but she maybe not be the best for a younger group of kids.

Capital Hill, Mount Vernon and the morning we went to Arlington Cemetery were the only tours that felt we had ample timing. I think the tour company squeezed in too many unrealistic activities leaving out the Holocaust ( we had less then 35 mins and most exhibits were closed for the day ) then we never even made it to Smithsonian Natural History and had less then 45 mins at air n space and again half the museum is under construction. I know we had opted out one evening tour that we did the next night, ( Lincoln) bc the kids were exhausted and done after dinner. Honestly, I’m not really sure if it’s because we had such a large group and they should limit it or the plan needs to be thoroughly adjusted. Just saying as a parent looking in.  Just glad we’re back and safe and it’s over. I know it’s not easy to control the day but it could use some adjustments for sure. 

This was a wonderful memorable trip for my daughters. They enjoyed the scheduled activities and I am glad they stayed busy from morning to night maximizing their trip itinerary. 

The group loved all of the tours and the kids had a lot of fun. Jerome was amazing and always responded fast. He was very accommodating throughout the entire process. Paul was very knowledgeable about everything around the city. He had a lot of information that he gave to the group and was great with directions. All of the food places were awesome. Sudhouse worked really well with us. Some of the students had to switch theirs meals and they switched them no questions asked. Surprisingly the kids loved Golden Corral. They loved all of the different food choices. The Ghost Tour and the White House tour was the group's favorite. John from the Ghost tour kept the group's attention at all times. We are able to see so much with so little time to do so.

2024 DC Class Trip with Horizon West Middle School

Trip was well organized for the class.   From what I was told some of the events were rushed and there was long days.   Everyone should be reminded that there will be LOTS of walking.   The selection of areas to visit was very good.
