You will be greeted and assisted at the airport in Nairobi on arrival.  Afterwards, you will be driven through the Great Rift Valley to your overnight destination in Nakuru.

Friday, July 5

Enjoy the beautiful lakes in the Great Rift Valley, along with an early evening game drive to see the exotic wildlife in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Saturday, July 6

Rise early for a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.  Afterwards, the group will depart Nakuru for Kisii, a town which will be our access point to Nyanchonori Village.

Sunday July 7, and Monday July 8

Raise the village, by working with the Global Connections Foundation to embolden and empower residents of the remote Nyanchonori Village.  On our first day in the village, we will participate in immersive cultural games and activities with the residents of Nyanchonori.  On the second day, we will work side by side with villagers to improve and beautify the local village school.  Through teamwork, we will make lasting connections with locals during this perspective shifting experience.   In addition to our village initiatives, we will explore the Kisii area through guided tours of soapstone manufacturing as well as hiking in Manga Hills.

Tuesday, July 9

The group will transition from purpose work in Nyanchonori, to a safari adventure in Maasai Mara.  After our drive from Kisii, experience an unforgettable game viewing adventure in the reserve.

Wednesday, July 10

Experience the best game viewing that Kenya has to offer, in the majestic Maasai Mara reserve on a full day of safari adventure.

Thursday, July 11

Following breakfast in Maasai Mara, you will be transported to Nairobi.  While in the city of Nairobi, enjoy a meal at the beautiful Emara hotel before returning home.  The flight from Nairobi departs at 11:35pm and arrives in JFK on the following morning, at 7:35am.
