You'll stand at the very first place where slavery was first abolished in the world, you'll visit the monument at the exact location where the last pockets of French Troops were defeated and Freedom became reality for the black race.

The highlight of your trip will be a visit to the Citadelle Laferriere--The largest fortress of the Americas built by 20,000 former slaves vowing to live free or die followed by a visit the ruins of the Sans-Souci Palace built by a black king : Henri Christophe showing off that us too can have lavish palaces.

As usual, Haitian Nomad did a wonderful job curating and planning this trip. The food, accommodations and activities were all amazing. There were some circumstances that could have led to the trip going south but Richard was fast-acting and worked hard to ensure we had a good trip. I enjoy learning the culture and history of each county I visit. The tour guides for this trip were so knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of their country.

Debbie's 65th birthday Celebration in Indonesia was a wonderful experience. Haitian Nomad provided a loving and caring hostess who worked tirelessly to meet the needs of all who attended. I discovered I had multiple fears I never knew I needed to overcome. My trip to Bali, Indonesia, was the first trip outside of the United States other than the Caribbean and Canada, and it wouldn't have happened without the extra push of Debbie's invitation and celebration. This trip challenged me to experience life through the new cultural experiences and lens of others who wanted to celebrate this momentous occasion that only occurs once in a lifetime. Attending this trip opened my eyes to a beautiful place that provided excellent accommodations that catered to each of our palettes with a lovely sister/friend. The driver was quite pleasant, and the host was immaculate. We could take multiple images of various things, such as the temples, the numerous photo options utilizing swings, restaurants, and the King and Queens to share them with. I was happy to be invited and hope it won't be the last as we have learned from each other.

This trip was absolutely amazing. Richard went above and beyond when hosting this trip. We were able to learn the culture and experience the Medina during the day and night. We ate amazing food and enjoyed a wonderful hotel and Riad. We can't wait to take another trip.

My trip to the Amalfi Coast with Haitian Nomad was beyond Excellent. Haitian Nomad exceeded my expectations in quality, organization, and leadership. Richard's leadership qualities and abilities are what you look for when hiring a company hosting trips all over the world with over 20+ participants at one time. The Amalfi Coast was my first trip this past June - and it won't be my last. I enjoyed everything from the beginning - all the way to the end. The accommodations and comradery was great. Let me start off with saying I had a ball on the trip. Toi was the best ambassador she had everything planned out for us. It was a trip that was well needed and I was glad that I took the chance to go half way around the world and I had a blast. Toi gets 200 stars she was the best. I would go on another trip as long as Toi is the ambassador. Toi thank you so much for showing up and showing out the best. I had a blast.
