The day kicks off with a morning pick up and transfer to Robben Island. This Famous Island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site symbolizing the oppression of the apartheid government. You'll start the experience with  a multimedia exhibition at the Nelson Mandela Gateway before taking the trip by ferry to the island. The tour to Robben Island is led by a former prisoner who shares insights into the fascinating history of the island.

When you get back from Robben Island you'll get a chance to enjoy some lunch at the waterfront before taking a guided tour of Cape Town and Table Mountain. There you’ll experience Cape Town from above on a cable car ride on the Table Mountain. This is a perfect way to experience this new addition to the 7 Wonders of the World and majestic mountain. You will also be able to spot dassies, porcupines, grysbok, mongooses, snakes and tortoises on the mountain. After this amazing experience you'll be take to Gold restaurant, one of the best restaurants in Cape Town that offers an authentic African experience. 

A night at GOLD is an immersive experience that will take you on a 14-dish taste-safari paired with traditional Mali puppets and entertainment. Throughout the 14 course experience you will enjoy learning about the country of origin, cooking techniques and spicing of each meal. You will also play the djembe drum and fully immense yourself into the experience.

This day of your trip will allow you to enjoy Cape Town like a local. You'll start of the day with a trip to Kirstenbosch Gardens which is acclaimed as one of the most beautiful botanic gardens in the world. Offering a peaceful oasis, the expansive garden is the perfect place to walk and relax among the Cape’s unique fynbos. 

After a magical morning exploring the gardens you would have deserved a nice relaxed afternoon of wine tasting and your next stop is Groot Constantia. Here you’ll enjoy wine and chocolate pairing of 5 wines and 5 chocolates. You will take a tour of Manor House museum as well Cloete Cellar and get your own branded wine glass souvenir. 

Afterwards you'll head over to Constantia Glen where you’ll enjoy wine tasting of 7 wines at this picturesque boutique wine estate that has award winning ultra-premium, cool climate wines. You can purchase a bottle of your favorite wine to take with or enjoy while watching the sunset. 

Today you'll tour the historic cities of Stellenbosch and get to see the Drakenstein, the prison that once held South African for President Nelson Mandela.. You'll explore and enjoy the unique wineries and stunning landscape of this Cape region. Guides will stop at wineries for tastings accompanied by local meats like biltong (dried meat) and cheeses. Your guide will take you to the following wine farms:

Spier - The archetypal Stellenbosch wine farm, with age-old trees, sprawling vineyards, Cape-Dutch buildings and a pretty river running through it. The focus here is on ethical farming and creativity. Explore the farm on a segway or with four themed self-guided walks. Spier has one of the largest collections of contemporary art in SA, including 31 outdoor sculptures and the Mosaic Kraal. There are six ranges, including organic, vegan and cap classique. Enjoy two options of tastings in the Tasting Room beside the dam (under an iconic Heath Nash-designed wine-bottle chandelier or on the verandah), with platters or a chocolate pairing if you like.

Lenzarac - The third-oldest farm in Stellenbosch (founded just 13 years after the town itself, over 330 years ago), and the first to commercially bottle and sell pinotage, Lanzerac is a majestic slice of history and Jonkershoek scenery, and a quintessential Winelands landmark. Two tastings are offered, as well as a wine-and-chocolate pairing, in the elegant Tasting Room or on its verandah overlooking the vines.

Delaire Graff Estate - Situated on the panoramic Helshoogte Pass, this estate (owned by international jeweler Laurence Graff) has a garden filled with sculptures, water features and indigenous flora which offers incredible views, sophisticated interiors and superb dining. There are five tasting options in the chic, art-filled Wine Lounge, with various cheese and charcuterie platters. 

Quoin Rock Wine Estate - The Ukrainian Gaiduk  family, who bought this historic estate in 2012, have transformed it into a state of the art architecturally striking destination that’s as visually stimulating as it is relaxing. A wide selection, including reds, whites, cap classique and a husk spirit. A sommelier-led tasting of five wines is offered, in the Wine Lounge (with glass walls looking into the cellar) or on the expansive terrace. Oysters, charcuterie or cheese platters are available.

Tokara - Perched on the edge of a mountain overlooking a valley of vineyards, between the Banhoek Conservancy and Simonsberg Nature Reserve, Tokara is one of the most breathtaking spots to spend the day. The focus is on sauvignons, but other varieties also feature in three ranges (Premium, Reserve and Director’s Reserve Collection), plus cap classique and a potstill brandy. Tastings are done in the stunning cellar or the art-filled Tasting Lounge. The range of Reserve wines are available by the glass at the Restaurant, alongside wines from other estates near and far.

After an amazing day in Stellenbosch you will be transferred to your hotel so you can rest and get ready for another day of adventure.

Today you'll explore more of the Western Cape and make your way to the Garden Route. You'll need to check out of the Cape Town hotel by 9 am and wear something comfortable for the drive to the Garden Route. The drive is beautiful and scenic but if long drives are not enjoyable for you there is a short 50 min flight that goes to the location. Nestled in the foothills of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains of South Africa's scenic Garden Route, lies Botlierskop Game Reserve, a malaria free game reserve. The drive to Bottlierskop where you will be staying is about 4 hrs and 30 minutes.  

This 4500 hectare Game Reserve is home to free roaming wildlife including Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Giraffes and Hippos. You will also have the opportunity to come across a variety of antelope, including the endangered Cape

Mountain Zebra, rare Bontebok, Black Impala and Golden Wildebeest. The reserve is home to over 200 resident bird species including the Knysna Turaco and Red-billed Ox-peckers as well as an inestimable number of endemic fynbos and flora.

Once you arrive at the Game Lodge you'll get a chance to freshen up, relax and then go out for a sunset game drive and dinner.

Your day starts early with a morning game drive at the game reserve. Experience a real Garden Route 4x4 Safari with our knowledgeable field guides. You will have the

opportunity to view free roaming wildlife including Rhinoceros, Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Cheetahs, Giraffes, the rare Black Impalas, Golden Wildebeest, Cape Mountain Zebras, Hippos and more. The game reserve is 4500 hectare and comprises of over 26 different species of animals and over 200 resident bird species.

As the sun begins to set you will be taken on another game drive and return to an amazing dinner before retiring for the night

Today you say goodbye to Botlierskop and make your way back to Cape Town CBD but the journey back will be a breathtaking one. You'll explore the famous Garden Route which includes one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline. The Garden Route runs parallel to a coastline featuring lakes, mountains, tall indigenous forests, amber -coloured rivers and golden beaches. You will drive through towns such as Witsand, Stillbaai and Albertina join the route that winds its way for some 200 km via George, Wilderness, Sedgefield and Knysna on to Plettenberg culminating in the Tstisikamma Forest- a fairyland of giant trees, ferns and birdlife. 

The driver will drive at a pace that will allow you to learn as much as you can about the areas you'll be passing through. 

This will be your last full day in Cape Town and it's a day dedicated to final memories as well as a chance for you to do some final souvenir shopping. After breakfast at the hotel you'll be taken to the Waterfront where you'll be taken on a helicopter ride to see Cape Town from above for the last time. After the helicopter ride you will have lunch at one of the restaurants overlooking the ocean and then getting some free time to explore some exhibitions and art sales around the Waterfront to give you a chance to shop for a piece of South Africa to take home with you. 

At sunset you will go on your final sunset cruise and dinner.
