Such an incredible and absolutely transformative experience. From start to finish the curation of this retreat was incredible. I was able to dive inward to explore in a way I never have been able to until I had a container that promoted my journey. I was given new tools and resources that made me feel confident and safe!

This 6 day retreat has been one of the most powerful experiences of my life. The journey was all encompassing; we had workshops, circle times, rich conversations, all in addition to the three ceremonies. There was much wisdom exchanged and new valuable relationships created. The facilitators did an excellent job creating a sacred and safe environment that fostered growth and connection. I feel humbled and deeply grateful, and I would recommend Ceremonia to anyone who is looking for personal and spiritual transformation.

I believe a sound system will be incredibly helpful. Facilitators and fellow journeyers were often so quiet I missed a lot of what was said. I loved the group size. There were six of us and it was perfect. When I thought of some of the larger groups that had occurred, I was glad I was in this smaller group. I know it might not be economical to make the groups smaller. Have a welcome letter that tells us what we need to know as soon as we get there i.e. 'Just slip off your shoes and walk into the retreat centre. You will be greeted and immediately taken to your sleeping quarters upon arrival. There you can settle in for a few minutes. Come back to the main meeting areas and introduce yourself to everyone...." something like that. Three of us arrived together and stood around with our bags for about 15 minutes before someone showed us where we were going to sleep. The support during the journey was amazing to say the least. I felt perfectly safe and supported in my decisions with my own experience. What I wanted and needed was thoughtfully taken care of. Have a 'formula' to use when preparing the plant medicine. It was incredibly sweet the first time, just perfect the second time and very sour another the last time. The food was plentiful, nourishing, flavourful and comforting. There was always things to snack on. The swimming pool, steam and hot tub was such an amazing benefit. Yes even the 'cold plunge' :) The journey's themselves were very powerful and the ceremonies took me where I needed to go. I loved learning how to decide my dosage and the different experiences I would expect with each plant medicine. I chose Ceremonia specifically for the integration planning that went into the journey. I wish we had had at least month to get to know each other on WhatsApp. It was only set up about a week before arriving. This might've been because of a switch over of staffing. Since I've been back the chat group for my journey has been sooooo helpful. So far the integration process via WhatsApp has been great. I did all the asynchronous material but if that chat had been open the whole time I would've been heavily involved in pre-journey conversations with my fellow travellers well before the actual retreat date. The guides and facilitators were very thoughtful, loving, kind and compassionate. It filled my heart. The Church Ceremony was a bit jarring. Perhaps spend a bit of time explaining to alumni how to engage with the newest members ie a reminder to use the Circling technique. It needs to be incredibly clear that once the purchase for your journey is made there is no refund - under any circumstances. Maybe have a date deadline for commitment. I had to search every page till I found a one-liner that stated that my money was non-refundable. Maybe make it part of the 'guarantee or money refunded' statement. eg. '....monies paid are none refundable AND we have a 100% guarantee of a transformation..." or specific exceptions can be spelled out. It should be verbally, written and clearly explained. It's a lot of money and. Maybe even have withdrawal/penalty deadlines, for example, "...if you choose to withdraw your registration prior to 1 month...we will refund a XX% of what you paid... OR registration withdrawals earlier than 1 month will be charged a service fee of XX%". Once the money left my hands that was it. I was a bit leery about what my experience had to look like in order for it to be considered a 'transformation'. Even if you had each participant write out what 'transformation' would look like for them as a guide that would be helpful. I've been involved in seminars/webinars that do that as a means of defining success. Then there is something specific to gauge what constitutes a successful transformation.

I purposely waited over a week to review, because the intensity of the experience was so strong that I wanted to see how I worked in the world before writing this. This experience was indeed transformative. There is no other word for it. I will never be the same, and in a good way. I cleared out garbage that had been dragging me down for decades. Chu Chu, Zia, Dr. Lance, and Ethan were the perfect combination of facilitators for me - each of them helped me pull through a challenge at one point or another; without them it would have just been taking drugs. With them it was life-changing. I am free to live life without fear, with love and compassion, with an attitude of abundance and service. I'm so looking forward to it. I am still growing and learning, and I see I have a great deal to learn still. The Letting Go process is already helping, though I have a lot of practice in front of me. But I am in an infinitely better place. The curriculum, if I may call it that, contains lessons that will help me forever. I probably don't have the bandwidth to truly use all of them in the short term. My gratitude for Ceremonia is boundless. Though this kind of retreat isn't for everyone, I can't recommend it highly enough for those who are ready.
