Growing up in Landrum, SC, Sarah McClure, daughter of three generations of restaurateurs, initially pursued Art History at Wofford and graduate studies at UGA. Despite her academic focus, she was drawn back to her family's business. After refining her culinary skills under Chef Peter Dale at “The National,” she took over the kitchen at Southside Smokehouse, transforming the menu from traditional Southern-American BBQ to more eclectic dishes, earning her regional acclaim as a 2018 SC Chef Ambassador. Her husband, Robert Hall, has also found success as the house mixologist, winning local titles. Together, they manage Southside with Sarah’s father, Robbie McClure. Sarah has appeared on Food Network’s “Guy's Grocery Games” and enjoys traveling to food-centric locales in her spare time.

Our tour officially begins with a captivating journey through Dublin, where the city's rich history and vibrant food scene intertwine to offer an unforgettable experience. The day starts with a guided walking tour led by one of our dear friends, who happens to be Ireland’s top food journalist, who will navigate us through Dublin's cobbled streets, sharing stories of historical figures and the city's illustrious past, with a foodie twist. We'll visit iconic landmarks like Trinity College and the lively Temple Bar area, immersing ourselves in the cultural heritage of Dublin.
Next, we'll enjoy a private demonstration and brunch at one of Dublin's premier bakeries, where we'll savor artisanal breads, pastries, and confections, all crafted with meticulous expertise. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistry of baking while indulging in delightful creations.
No culinary tour of Dublin would be complete without an exclusive visit to the Guinness Storehouse. We'll embark on a private tour of this iconic brewery, exploring the history of Ireland's most famous stout. Our visit will culminate with a tasting session, allowing us to savor the unique flavors of Guinness while enjoying panoramic views of the city.

A standout culinary experience in Dublin awaits us at Urban Farm in Airfield Estate—an urban haven of sustainability in the heart of the city. We will immerse ourselves in their farm-to-table journey, exploring their organic produce and sustainable methods on a guided tour of the estate. This visit includes a gourmet lunch that showcases local flavors, featuring fresh products from the farm and a selection of offerings from Ireland's top food and drink producers. For dessert, we'll use the exceptional milk from Airfield's Jersey cow to make our own version of scones with clotted cream. This hands-on experience will let us craft tender scones and creamy clotted cream, showcasing the rich flavors of locally-sourced ingredients. The evening is free for you to explore Dublin's vibrant scene and create your own memorable experiences.

Today, we leave Dublin behind and journey to County Clare, beginning with a visit to the Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery, a cornerstone of Ireland's whiskey heritage. We'll enjoy an in-depth tour of the distillery, where we’ll explore the intricate process behind Tullamore D.E.W., from selecting the finest grains to the triple distillation that gives it its renowned smoothness. Discover the historic buildings and gleaming copper pot stills while learning about the brand’s rich history. Each tasting will reveal the complex flavors developed over years of maturation. Following the tour, we’ll savor delightful bites and drinks at the distillery.
Our adventure continues with a visit to a custom knife maker’s workshop, where we'll witness the skill and artistry involved in crafting these unique blades. The day concludes with an evening at a charming boutique hotel, where we'll relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Today’s adventure begins with a visit to a free-range pig farm, where we'll explore the delightful and flavorful offerings of farm-fresh produce. Next, we head to the Foynes Flying Boat Museum, a historic landmark renowned for its role in the early days of transatlantic flights. Here, we'll dive into aviation history and participate in an Irish Coffee Class, originally crafted at this location to warm passengers on their journeys.
Our exploration continues with a visit to the Burren Smokehouse, where we'll enjoy tastings and a guided tour of their artisanal smokehouse, savoring the unique flavors of their smoked delicacies. Following this, we’ll gather for a comforting meal at a quaint country tavern and microbrewery in a town famous for its matchmaking festival.
Save room for dessert as we visit an artisan chocolate maker who practices the art of "bean to bar" craftsmanship, offering a rich and immersive experience into the world of fine chocolate.
Finally, we’ll arrive in Galway, check into our hotel, and conclude the day with a delightful dinner at a renowned restaurant helmed by one of our favorite chefs, capping off the day with an exceptional dining experience.

Today, our journey leads us to the stunning Aran Islands, beginning with a picturesque boat ride across the sparkling waters to the enchanting Inishmore. Once there, we’ll be guided by a local expert who is not only knowledgeable about the island's history but also a skilled goat cheese producer. He will reveal the secrets of his farm and the intricate process of cheese-making.
Next, we’ll embark on a foraging expedition along the island's rugged shoreline, discovering the nutritional treasures of seaweed, a superfood with a fascinating heritage. This hands-on experience will connect us with the island's natural bounty.
Our exploration continues with a hike to Dun Aengus, an awe-inspiring ancient fort perched dramatically on a sheer cliff. The views from this vantage point are renowned in Ireland, they are truly spectacular.
For lunch, we’ll enjoy a traditional Irish meal at Teach Nan Phaidi, a charming spot that offers an authentic taste of local cuisine. Before heading back to the mainland, take time to browse the renowned Aran Islands knitwear, known for its quality and craftsmanship.

Next, we venture to Killary Fjord, Ireland’s only fjord, where the landscape transforms into a stunning tableau of deep waters and towering mountains. Here, we embark on a unique culinary experience. Boarding boats to floating docks, we gain an up-close look at the oyster and mussel production process before savoring a rustic fjord-side lunch featuring these fresh, locally-harvested delicacies.
