About this trip
In this journey we will travel to the highland of Guatemala, to the community of Chichicastenango, today known as the town with one of the biggest and most colorful Maya markets around Guatemala. After our arrival we will start our walking tour visiting the town and exploring the local market. Next day after breakfast we continue our journey to visit the archaeological site of Iximche, best known as the place where the first capital of Guatemala was stablished in 1524. After stopping in Tecpán for lunch on our own, we transfer to Guatemala City to end our tour.
