Our Day begins with a visit to the Reading Terminal Market to shop and grab a bite to eat on your own.  Next visit Philadelphia's Magic Gardens for a self guided tour of awe-inspiring works of mosaic art. Our final stop is at the Chinese Lantern Festival at Franklin Square featuring more than 30 larger-than-life illuminated lanterns, various entertainers, a fountain show, food and merchandise vendors and more.  Light turn on by 6:30pm 

The Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival at Franklin Square is a celebration of light and culture that showcases dozens of larger-an-life lantern displays constructed by artists from China and the Philadelphia region. The iconic 200-foot-long dragon installation lands in the square once again, ready to celebrate the Year of the Dragon with festivalgoers, among new, never-before-seen sculptures, including some designed by local students
