Join us as Black Naturists Association (BNA) takes a trip to Cartagena, Colombia! You will enjoy a stay in a luxurious colonial house in the walled city--a magical experience that combines the elegance of old-world charm with the vibrancy of modern-day culture. Imagine stepping onto the balcony to take in the warm Caribbean breeze and the colorful architecture of the city, and then enjoying a delicious breakfast made with locally-sourced ingredients.
During the day, you can relax and sunbathe in our beautiful pool or explore the rich history and culture of Cartagena, visiting the city's museums, art galleries, and historic landmarks. Take a stroll through the colorful streets of the old town, stop to admire the impressive architecture of the colonial buildings, and indulge in some shopping at the local markets.
As the sun sets, the city comes alive with music, dance, and delicious food. Savor the flavors of traditional Colombian cuisine at one of the many restaurants or street vendors, and dance the night away to the rhythms of salsa, cumbia, and reggaeton.
Returning to your luxurious colonial house, you can relax in the nude comfort of your own private oasis, surrounded by elegant furnishings, beautiful artwork, and modern amenities. With its impeccable service, stunning design, and prime location, you'll experience the magic of Cartagena, Colombia.
Payment Details
A nonrefundable deposit of $300-400 will be required to hold your space, with the remaining balance divided into monthly interest-free installments.
You will incur a $50 late payment fee on the 5th day of missed payment, on the 10th day of non-payment, you automatically forfeit your spot and no refund will be issued.
Travel Insurance and Refunds
Trip deposits and payments are non-refundable. We recommend a comprehensive travel insurance coverage that includes "Cancel for Any Reason" and COVID-19 protection clauses to cover your reimbursable costs. You can purchase travel insurance through our trip insurance partner HERE or utilize their customizable search for the right travel insurance option for you.
Cancellation Policy and Refunds
All deposits and payments are non-refundable and you must work with your travel insurance provider to obtain reimbursement for non-refundable expenses due to cancellations. We do allow you to transfer your trip to another traveler. There is a one-time transfer fee of $50 to transfer your booking to another traveler. While we can assist with the transfer process, ultimately the responsibility is yours to find someone to whom you can transfer your reservation. Immerse yourself in the rich history, vibrant traditions, and unique culture of this UNESCO-recognized village, which has preserved its African roots for centuries.
Upon arrival, a local guide will welcome you and lead you through the streets of Palenque, sharing the inspiring story of resistance and freedom that defines the town. Learn about the origins of Palenque, its language (Palenquero), and the unique cultural practices that have been passed down through generations. Visit important landmarks, including the town square, traditional houses, and the monument of Benkos Biohó, the leader who founded the town in the 17th century.
Throughout the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the residents of Palenque, hear stories from community elders, and enjoy a live performance of traditional music and dance, giving you a deeper connection to the vibrant cultural heritage of the town.
After exploring, sit down to an authentic Palenquero lunch, prepared with local ingredients and recipes that have been cherished for generations. Delight in a meal that might include dishes like coconut rice, fried fish, plantains, and fresh tropical fruit, offering a true taste of the region’s culinary heritage.
