Monday, 10  November 2025 - Casablanca (D)

Tuesday, 11 November 2025 - Casablanca - Tangier (B-L-D)

Begin a full-day exploration of Casablanca. Start with the magnificent Hassan II Grand Mosque, one of only two mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors. The mosque is one of the largest globally and can hold up to 25,000 worshipers. Built on reclaimed land, almost half of the mosque extends over the waters of the Atlantic, inspired by the Quranic verse that says "the throne of God was built on the water." At night, lasers from the minaret point toward Mecca.

Next, visit the Museum of Moroccan Judaism, created and managed by the Judeo-Moroccan Cultural Heritage Foundation. Opened in 1997, it is Casablanca's first museum and the only Jewish museum in the Arab world. Here, meet Mrs. Zhor Rhihil, the museum's director and co-founder, a Muslim woman passionately dedicated to preserving Jewish heritage in Morocco. The museum is a testament to Jewiah and Muslim coexistence, featuring well-preserved clothing, jewelry, art, artifacts, and photos documenting the efforts to restore cemeteries and synagogues across Morocco.

5:00 pm - Arrive in Tangier, check in, and enjoy a buffet dinner and overnight at Hilton Tangier City Center.


Wednesday, 12 November 2025 - Tangier Sightseeing (B-L)

Begin your walking tour of Tangier with a visit to the colorful fish, meat, and vegetable markets. Next, explore the Mendoubia Garden and the famous Kasbah Museum at the highest point of the Medina, formerly the Sultan's Palace (Dar el-Makhzen, built in 1684 by King Moulay Ismail). 

Stroll through the medina's narrow streets to the Jewish quarter, where you can visit the Moshe Nahon Synagogue, Tangier's last operating synagogue. Built in the 1870s, the synagogue was restored in 1994, revealing intricate carvings, synagogue lamps, and Jewish artifacts. In the past, over 20 synagogues existed in Tangier; one restored example is the superbly decorated Temple Benatar. 

Visit to Jewish Cemetary – a testemant to the long history of Jews in Morocco.

End your visit with the American Legation, the first American property outside the United States, showcasing works by American writers who once lived in Tangier, including Paul Bowles, William Burroughs, and Tennessee Williams.

Thursday, 13 November 2025 - Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fez (B-L-D)

Travel to the Blue Pearl, Chefchaouen, via mountain roads. Nestled in the Rif mountains, Chefchaouen was established in 1471 and is famous for its blue-painted medina. Jewish refugees who fled Spain during the Inquisition painted their houses blue, a tradition that continues today.

Lunch at a local restaurant

Take a guided tour through the medina, including the 18th-century kasbah, central mosque, and mellah (Jewish quarter), and explore the bustling Utta El Hamam square.

 Continue on to Fez for check-in, dinner, and overnight at Barcelo Fez.


Friday, 14 November 2025 - Fez (B-L-D)

Step back into medieval Morocco with a visit to Fes El Bali, the world’s largest living medieval medina-city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the narrow lanes, alleys, and souks, including the historic Karaouine, one of the oldest functioning universities. See the nearby Attarine Medersa (Koranic college), a jewel of Hispano-Moorish architecture built in the 14th century.Continue to Nejjarine Square, known for its beautiful fountain and the Fondouq (Caravanserai), now a museum of carpentry artifacts. Visit the world-famous tanneries, where you can witness traditional leather-making techniques unchanged since medieval times.Explore Fes El Jedid (New Fes), founded by the Merinids in the 13th century, home to the Mellah (Jewish quarter) with unique Jewish architecture. 

Visit two functioning synagogues that reflect the rich Jewish history of Morocco. 

We visit the home of Maimonides.

Saturday, 15 November 2025 - Fez (B-L)

Travel to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the largest and best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. See triumphal arches, basilicas, capitols, and beautifully preserved mosaic floors.

Enjoy a gourmet lunch at Château Roslane, where each course is paired with wine from the region’s vineyards.

Sunday, 16 November 2025 - Fez (B-L-D) 

Domestic Flight from Fez to Marrakech (12:20 pm - 1:20 pm).
Enjoy lunch at Beldi Country Club. 

We start our visit to some of the famous Marrakech landmarks: Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, and Badii Palace.

Monday, 17 November 2025 - Fez - Marrakech (B-L-D) 

Discover the mysteries of Marrakech and the city’s architectural highlights within the Medina. Visit to Slat Al Azama Synagogue (Synagogue of the Exiles) founded in 1492 and still functioning!

Continue to explore the labyrinthine souks, including Souk Smarine, famous for textiles and handicrafts. Stop at Jemaa El Fna, the city’s main square with street artists and food stalls.

Visit Medersa Ben Youssef – the oldest Islamic school in Marrakech. 

Meet with Mr. Jackie Kaddoch, President of the Jewish Community in Marrakech, for insights on Jewish life in Morocco.

Lunch by the pool at Dar Moha
Afternoon visits include the souks, and Berber pharmacy. And time to explore on ones own.

Tuesday 18 November 2025 - Marrakech (B-L) 

Today is dedicated to Marrakech’s lush gardens. Traditional Horse Carriage ride to Le Jardin Majorelle, created in 1924 by Jacques Majorelle, later preserved by fashion designer Yves Saint-Laurent. Visit the Berber Museum, honoring Berber culture with jewelry and traditional costumes.

Lunch
Afternoon visits include Dar El Bacha Museum & Jardins Secrets. Some time on your own to revisit the souk or the other sites of this marvelous city. Afternoon at leisure

Wednesday, 19 November 2025 – The ATLAS MOUNTAINS & Farewell Dinner (B, L, D) 

Full day excursion to the Atlas Mountains.

We will share a traditional tea in the home of a Mountain Berber family. We will savor freshly made bread, accompanied by a refreshing mint tea as your host enlightens you, with the help of your guide, with tales of their family, history and culture.  Before the colonization of this region by Islam, there were many Berbers who converted to Judaism or to Christianity. Additionally until recently there were many non-berber Jewish villages in these mountains.

Return to Fez

Conclude with a farewell dinner at Dar Rhizlane.


Thursday, 20 November 2025 - Departure (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then included motorcoach transfer to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight. There are international flights leaving from the Marakech Airport as well.
