Salvador da Bahia is the capital of the state of Bahia in Brazil. It is the third-largest city in Brazil, after São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and the first capital of Brazil. The city has a lot to offer visitors, including beautiful beaches and historical sites. Today is recognized as Afro Capital because 80% of its inhabitants are black. Some of the most popular tourist attractions in Salvador include:

Pelourinho: The Pelourinho is the historic center of Salvador. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to many colonial-era buildings, churches, and museums. The epicenter of the Afro-Brazilian community.
Igreja do Bonfim: The Igreja do Bonfim is a church located in the Pelourinho. It is a popular pilgrimage site and is known for its brightly colored tiles.
Elevador Lacerda: The Elevador Lacerda is an elevator that connects the Pelourinho to the lower city. It is a popular tourist attraction and offers great views of the city.
Farol da Barra: The Farol da Barra is a lighthouse located on the Barra beach. It is a popular tourist attraction and offers great views of the city and the ocean.
