About this trip

The Greater Rochester Area Family of Parishes invites you to join us this November in Traverse City for the Core Strength Young Adult Retreat. This is a time for you to pause before going into the holiday season and take a step back from your busy life to meet new friends and grow in faith.


The weekend will be a mix of talks, excursions, fellowship and growth. We hope that this transformative weekend will help you walk into the next season with a new sense of peace and direction.

Shared Room

A shared room will hold two people maximum and can either be a king bed or 2 queens. The requests for room style will be on a first come first serve basis.


During check-out there will be a section where you can specify who would like to room with.


**If you  are coming alone we can fill your room with someone of the same sex. If the second space in your room does not get filled you will be responsible for the full cost (i.e. private room price).

Please DO NOT select this option if you are planning on sharing a room. This price only accounts for 1 persons meals, shuttle bus transfer. If you are sharing with a friend or spouse, please purchase 2 individual slots to account for the additional items. Itinerary

Day 1
Welcome to Traverse City

Welcome to the beautiful city of Traverse City and to day 1 of this retreat! 


The retreat does not officially begin until 7PM, where we will meet up in the lobby of the hotel and enjoy some social time with the fellow retreatants. More details to follow.


Check-in at the Delamar Hotel begins at 4PM. You are welcome to enjoy the afternoon at leisure or arrive later in the evening.


Relax, unwind and get excited for the transformative weekend ahead.

I had a way better time than I could have imagined. She was quick to tackle hiccups that arose (because when you travel, there is ALWAYS something). It was a perfect blend of relaxation, building community, and prayerful contemplation. I cannot get over how well everyone meshed and how well she picked things for our group!
