Our trip was perfect from the initial meetup with Javier via Whatsapp to our designated guide, Joaquin, picking us up from our hotel. Both were very friendly, bilingual, and professional throughout our multi-day excursion in Ecuador. Our safety was also first and foremost which was a relief for someone who had not done any high altitude mountaineering. A Fantastic Volcanoes Expedition with Andeanface. My partner and I went on the Volcanoes Expedition with Andeanface in July. Prior to the trip, communication from Javier was excellent and he was always extremely prompt in replying to any queries we had. During the trip, every tiny detail was covered from the moment we landed in Quito until we departed. The itinerary and the logistics were perfect, with a good balance between hard and rest days. A good amount of time was built in for acclimatisation and this allowed us to see many other interesting parts of Ecuador, which we really appreciated and very much enjoyed. The food and lodgings along the way were also great. Our head guide Joaquin Andino was fantastic. He was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable about everywhere we visited. A shout out also to our driver (Viktor) and the other wonderful guides (Pablo, Hugo, Ivan, Maurizio, Pepe) who accompanied us on the climbs – all were extremely helpful, friendly and professional.
