Road Trip Day 1
Day 1: Road Trip to Fredericksburg – Wild West Adventure Begins

Departure from Dallas:

  • The adventure kicks off bright and early at 9:00 AM as we hit the road in our comfortable minivan or SUV. The journey is all about fun and bonding with your fellow adventurers, setting the tone for an incredible trip ahead. Pink shirts for the drive and back are suggested to go with the pink Cowgirl hats and bandanas (included)
  • We will take turns driving- changing every hour and half.

Themed Stops – Wild West Fun:

  • Every hour and a half, we’ll stop for a stretch break and a quick Wild West-themed activity. Each stop will give everyone a chance to have some laughs, enjoy a snack, and change drivers. You’ll dress up with pink cowboy hats and bandanas, pose for photos, and participate in Wild West games like “Sheriff Says” or trivia.

Stop 1: 10:30 AM

  • First Wild West-themed stop! We’ll break out the cowboy hats, stretch, and take a few group photos as we dive into the Cowgirl spirit.

Stop 2: 12:00 PM

  • Time for another fun break—maybe a game of Wild West trivia or a quick skit before we continue on our way. Enjoy a snack and a chance to refresh.

Stop 3: 1:30 PM

  • A quick rest and some fun facts about the Wild West before our next stretch of road.

Arrival in Fredericksburg:

  • Around 3:00 PM, we’ll arrive in the charming town of Fredericksburg. Here, you’ll have time to explore, enjoy a delicious dinner, and soak in the local history and culture of this quaint town.
  • Fredericksburg offers a mix of German heritage and Texas hospitality, with unique shops, historic buildings, and great food.

Evening:

  • After dinner, we’ll settle into our cozy accommodations in Fredericksburg. The night is yours to relax and get ready for the next day’s adventure as we head towards Big Bend.

We had a great time! We saw all of Yellowstone! The accommodations were great, and I really enjoyed the virtual tour guide we used in the park.

I truly enjoyed this trip. The scenery was spectacular! Loved the added waterfalls and Rhonda being open to suggestions off the itinerary, if it wasn’t out of the way. If I can suggest… maybe doing a survey to better assign roommates. Example…. Do you like it cold while sleeping. Do you sleep with tv on. This could help those who are meeting the roomy for the first time.

We had a great time. I suggest going a week later for warmer weather. I enjoyed everyone. Flexibility was important, and we all adjusted due to weather changes.
