About this trip

Part urban adventure and part beach retreat, this trip will introduce you to one of Colombia's most beautiful and vibrant cities, as well as transport you to one of its most gorgeous landscapes on the wild Caribbean Sea.

We'll spend our first 3 nights in the old Spanish colonial city of Cartagena, spellbound by the art, history, food, and energy.

Our city sojourn will be followed by a 5 night retreat to a secluded beach hideaway at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where the jungle meets the sea.  We'll immerse ourselves in nature, unspool our nervous systems, and connect with local indigenous people.

As a dynamic, curious, and light-hearted traveler, one of my great joys is introducing people to fascinating places. When we arrive in a new place, we begin to connect with local people, the culture, and the landscape. These interactions inevitably begin to change our inner landscapes as well: hearts swell, minds open, compassion and acceptance spread. I try to facilitate this same connection & expansion when I'm back home teaching yoga at local studios in Hoboken, Jersey City, and NYC. Let's go on some inner/outer adventures together!

Fabulous week in Mexico! The yoga, food, & hotel were all wonderful. The hotel has a great restaurant and beachfront cafe/bar. Isla Holbox is a 2-hour bus ride + ferry from the Cancun area but worth the trip if you are looking for something off the beaten path.

Isla Holbox is a magical place, truly a paradise to unwind and my recent trip with Kim Larkin Yoga was nothing short of transformative. Kim carefully plans and executes every detail with ease; from the airport, the transportation, the hotel, the meals, the fun outings, and of course the yoga. The accommodations were idyllic, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm, right down to the stray cats and dogs that are beloved by all. I really enjoyed meeting my fellow travelers; bonding instantly, sharing laughter, stories, there was a genuine sense of camaraderie. It was a truly healing experience, a perfect escape that left me feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and looking forward to returning.

Wow!! How do you define one of the best weeks of your life? I needed a reboot, something to clear my mind and focus back on me; not my kids, my husband, my parents, or my job. Just a week for me to gain some perspective on my place in the world and how to gain some time for me once again when I got back to the world. Kim planned a great retreat! She took care of the transfers, meals, accommodations and of course the yoga. The hotel location was breathtaking, quiet, and just what I needed. The yoga studio was also picture perfect. Everything that Kim did to plan the retreat allowed me to focus on myself; relaxing, time to journal and be introspective, sit in the sun, nap and just rejuvenate. I can’t thank her enough for giving me time to remember who I am, and who I want to be. The yoga was top notch. It reminded me to just breathe. I highly recommend Kim and this trip to anyone who needs time to put themselves first, before the world comes back into play.

Thank you Kim. It was a superb adventure. Having traveled under your wing before I knew it would be well planned, interesting and fulfilling, and Morocco with you and the group was so much more! Everything was well thought through and meaningful - from mosque to blue city, Atlas Mountains, medinas, souks, camel riding in the desert. And a night in a tent under the Saharan skies. And a roll down a dune! Yoga on rooftops at sunrise! A wonderful group of vibrant new friends! Thank you Kim, you’re the best. I look forward to your next retreat
