The first railway route in Colombia, now transformed into a LONG DISTANCE TRAIL for hiking, which follows in the footsteps of men and women who, since 1881, participated in the development of the railway section between Facatativá and Girardot. It is a historical journey through of Facatativá, Zipacón, La Mesa, Anapoima, Apulo, Tocaima and Girardot town. The Cundinamarca Iron Mountain Trail covers 112 km in 5 days, passing through 16 train stations, 3 types of weathers and different natural attractions such as the Manjui hill, green lagoon, cloud forest, the Bogotá River and the Magdalena River.
